It's really a bit boring isn't it? I mean, it's an okay watch and way less stressful than watching the UK one but there's not a whole lot going on...

True but it finishes a week on Friday. We don't have lord knows how many weeks of it. I think most of us were desperate for the UK one to end!

NeckCurtains trimmed the beard which would still look better natural. Interesting that the faults in their relationship were exposed in the audition tapes- remind me why they were matched... At least he's toning down his personality.

Cricket guy is adorable! So vulnerable and imagine being called "a project" by someone because you're trying to work on yourself. I hope they work out.

Piripi being vulnerable and admitting to his past cheating and saying he was going to uni was also new, but I'm not sure it's going to work because she wants intellect and settling and he seems to be immature. Maybe there is hope.

CJ (Cara2) and Jesse started well, but he seems immature too.

And then there is Reiki Red and Nafe. She is too old for him and is mothering him.

Looks like they're trying to spice it up tomorrow with a sex toys question but this is prewatershed so I don't think we'll see much.

I am also watching Season 2 of MAFS NZ and I have to say I am enjoying it a lot more. The couples are more varied, and more fun! Plus, the advise is really good in Season 1 and Season 2.

Genuinely, I felt embarrassed that watchers in Aus might think we’re all like Polly and Holly over here. Ignorant, self centred, foul mouthed and styled like Cinderella’s ugly sisters. Not to mention the lunch hour trout pouts almost all of them have.

I want to trim those straggly ends. And I’m not even a hairdresser, just pass me some scissors.

I dislike Maddie intensely! One of those types who think they’re spiritual and all about the reiki, but really they’re all about themself and wanting to be centre stage. That poor boy needs rescuing, looks like they’re quitting tonight so let’s hope.

Apologies to any Kiwi mumsnetters but the more things I watch about NZ the more I don't want to go there. It all seems so very lacklustre.

Kiwis are nice folk; I’ve known quite a few IRL; but also I’ve noticed a lack of drama and aggro on all NZ reality series which obviously makes me a total ixpert…. 👀

I'm really enjoying this. It's a nice, relaxing, easy watch. Unlike the UK version.

Yes, I prefer it. I was always on edge with the UK one, thinking someone might get 'glassed' at any moment.

I'm loving the views of NZ and so far think all the people seem infinitely more well mannered than most of those on MAFS UK, which endears me to the population of the country. However, I agree with those saying exciting TV it is not. I find myself drifting off quite a bit and if it weren't for the views of NZ, I'm not sure I'd stick with it. Although I probably would because it is so dreary and dark outside and during the winter months I hate even thinking about leaving my living room once I'm home in the evening.

Really disliking Maddie, and feeling so sorry for Nath. He was visibly upset on last night's show. Why does she keep parping on about 'only talking about things on camera?' Even one of the ixperts looked puzzled and questioned her.

She looks and seems like his mum every day. Looks a good generation older, and seems bossy and controlling. I would leave if I was him. I bet his mates will rip the piss out of him when he sees the woman he was paired with! 😬

Watching last night now and think Beardo looks even more weird with that bit off his beard as it moves when he talks! I think Kara should just trim it off when he's asleep. Or is that assault...?!😂

I think most of these women are just on a different level to these basic blokes. ( not including Mike in this, he's just in a universe of his own...)
