So cute brunette, and Brummie guy are snookered. She won't move because of her child and how he is settled in school/near family, and he won't move because his visa won't allow it. Ooops. They live almost 700 miles apart. THAT is gonna be a long commute for one of them!

Ahh, didn't realise it was that far.

The weddings and honeymoon are in Vanuatu, a tropical island in the South Pacific, 1000 miles north of Australia and about 500 miles from Fiji.

Seasons 1-3 were filmed in 2017-19 and first shown in the UK in 2022. This is season 4 and was broadcast in New Zealand in May 2024. They brought in John to reinvigorate it.

Thoughts so far:

NZ people very subdued but full of woo.
I think their cosmeticians are just better than the unregulated mess of the UK. Bri (content creator) has thicker lips but not ridiculous like the UK influencers.

Far too much urination for my liking.

The horses were glorious!

Teacher is lovely but very insecure. I think he likes the dress net curtain his wife wore because you can see everything.

Neck Curtains is WEEEIIIIRRRRD.
Kara has the ick but is too polite to say anything.

Red Reiki is a lot older looking than her husband who should still be in short trousers.

It is calmer and slower, but if it was all drama we'd be whingeing.

Auckland (her) and Christchurch (him) I think they live. And Auckland is on the North Island, whilst Christchurch is on the South Island. And it involves a ferry, and takes 16 hours!

Isn't New Zealand just a beautiful country though??? 😍

I’ve fallen asleep watching every episode so far. DH is keen though.

We've not seen much of it yet.

It's very dull so far, and I feel bad for saying that.

The nervous laugh is quite annoying.

I think Nate is the best looking guy there. I am not sure he has much in common with his bride and 7 years is quite a big age gap when he is only 30.

Oh poor James, he has had a hard time of it.

Vanuatu is amazing.

Well it looks it, I have never been there!

It is. I had a holiday there many, many years ago while I was living in Oz.
Vanuatu was known as Vila then, and was much less developed.
Fabulous place. I had a holiday romance with a Maori vet who was working there
Wandering barefoot on the beach, hand in hand, beneath the millions and billions of stars of the tropical night. Me in a sarong with a hibiscus flower behind my ear <goes all misty>
Then we encountered a swarm of giant coconut crabs... <do not google>
Killed the mood a bit.
