Montell and Johannes Salsa to Don’t Leave Me This Way by Thelma Houston
Sarah and Vito Couple’s Choice to Padam Padam by Kylie Minogue
Tasha and Aljaz Paso Doble to Torn by Nathan Lanier
Chris and Dianne American Smooth to Jump by Paul Anka
Jamie and Michelle Jive to The Ketchup Song (Aserejé) by Las Ketchup
JB and Lauren Quickstep to Never Gonna Give You Up by Rick Astley
Pete and Jowita Cha Cha to I’m Too Sexy by Right Said Fred
Wynne and Katya Charleston to Carmen Suite No.1: 5.Les toréadors by Georges Bizet
Meh to the songs.
Blackpool tram coming for Pete probably and they'll laud a bloody Fosse to Kylie to the hills. I'm too sexy has been used across the pond - for a Bachelor contestant with Jenna and another pro iirc. I'll dig it out.
And Bizet for a Charleston is a bit frenetic. A bullfighting Charleston or Five nights at Freddy's video gamer?! The mind boggles.
As to Tayce doing Xmas Strictly, I'll go against the grain and be damned.
Loved Courtney Act on DWTS Australia, loved Blu Hydrangea on DWTS Ireland, love the sass and the sequins and the artistry and the death drops and the shablam, razzmatazz of it all.
As does my daughter who is gay and went to a drag show September despite my warnings it might not be inclusive for her. In fact, she went to two in the gay village in Manchester and had a blast.
Strictly has always attracted a gay audience - drag is a big part of the gay culture for many viewers and there is a crossover audience (myself included) who are fans of both - Tayce was fab on Drag Race and I'm really looking forward to seeing them on it.
Each to their own. It would be good to see a Drag King on there too at some point (there are some good ones out there).
