Same here. I wish he'd never come back because then I could remember him how he was and not the annoying version of himself he's become.

It wasn't the cuddling though, it was how Katya moved his hand to a much more appropriate place whilst keeping a rictus grin on her face.

That coupled with her face like thunder refusing to give him a high 5, all made it look like he'd done something to seriously upset her.

Claiming it was a joke was ridiculous & I don't know anyone who believed this, but if it were, joking about being a handsy man to a much younger woman was very ill judged & I'm glad it's backfired.

I had Wynne as my dark horse winner after the first couple of weeks but really do want him to go now!

Did anyone else think Lauren looked like Claudia in the pro dance? 😆

I've barely heard of them, so I'll join Grouchy on the old and tired bench. I did see them mentioned once this week in the news, that's literally it I think.

Yep - the strictly judges especially Shirley hold the women contestants to higher standards than the male contestants. It's becoming more and more obvious - and maybe part of the reason they couldn't find enough women to sign up, maybe not just Gio and Graz who are verbal nasties on this show.

Craig is the only judge who is sensible, sticks to his standards, doesn't chuck around ridiculous marks by week 3/4 and gives honest feedback to improve rather than blowing smoke up the bums of his personal favourites.
I'm fed up of the Panto booing of his perfectly relevant criticisms and pointers. He's there to judge, not just compliment them (or flirt with the ones he wants to shag, again looking at you Shirls).

Agree, CRH is definitely the best and most impartial judge now. He used to be panto but now he's a victory for common sense.

I wonder which celebs will do the live tour, I'm guessing they will announce 2 of the females, Sarah and Tasha and 1 male, but with JB and Shayne having been in a dance off, Wynn and the hand episode, will it be Pete (the weakest dancer left in the competition) as the male to sell tickets? I don't know enough about eastenders to know if Jamie can do the tour.

I've seen that Craig is doing a tour next year and debating whether to get tickets to that or Nikita's tour for my mum's Christmas present 🤔 we've done a lot of strictly related shows and most recently the Anton and Gio thing but I did find that a bit too cringey and not sure what Craig (who apparently will do lots of singing 🤷🏼‍♀️😆) would be like. What to do!!

I am very obsessed with Vito. I loved him last year but this year I absolutely adore him.

As you say, both cute and adorable but incredibly sexy too.

I was looking earlier for a calendar for 2025 and searched (unsuccessfully) for one of Vito. I definitely think there should be one as I think it would be very popular.

Vito is definitely the strongest professional in terms of ticket sales etc followed by Nikita and Kai. Not giving Kai and Lauren partners this year is a big mistake.
I'm sure Kai will dance with Montell in the live show if she takes part (JoJo can't take part). I may be overthinking this but Nikita and Layton at the O2 in February was so amazing and I would love to go again (to see Vito in those trousers).

I don't use calendars but I would buy this if it existed 😁😁

Disappointed at the DO combination; I voted for both Sam and Montell. Out of the two, keeping Montell was the better decision. Sam was a bit scuppered by the whimsical music choice, choreography and dress that looked like an oversized corset was slipping off.

The next few weeks have got a lot of scope for uncomfortable DO combinations.

The high five thing was clearly a joke. Wynne, Kai and JB all immediately laugh heartily. Not one of them looks shocked or upset or confused, not for a second. Katya smiles warmly as soon as she turns round. That part is very obviously not done out of anger. She didn't have a face like thunder at all.

I read someone saying the high five thing was a bit of a running joke, but I don't know whether there are other clips of them doing it or not

Dd says there are lots and lots of Pete’s fans, some of whom confess they don’t even watch strictly, who vote for him over and over again. One of them posted that they had voted for him 178 times, another said 70 times. I don’t think that should be allowed.
For that reason I will not be voting for Pete no matter how he dances.
I’d like to see him gone followed by Wynne who is one of the weaker dancers.
In fact the only male I’d like in the final is Chris but I don’t want him to win,
Dd, who is a trained dancer, agrees with the comments that the judges are far harsher on the women. She says they have let Pete & Wynne get away with rubbish dancing but criticised the women who were better than them.

Slightly off-topic but seeing as posters were mentioning Dollly's version of "I will always love you" - she wrote that AND "Jolene" on the same day!

Vito's ok until he starts talking! That over excited and gabbled way he speaks is an act I think.

Sarah is annoying, she knows she's good and she'll be fine but the agonising faces she makes during the results argh.

Thought Tess looked lovely in pink.

Loved that Tasha didn't even try to be an ' Icon' ..didn't dress like Pink, just danced to the song. She's bloody brilliant and I hope knowing more about her now means she will connect with the audience more. As excellent as she is, there is something ' too professional' about her. Agreed with Anton that she was that good, you didn't really notice Alijaz.

The Wynne and being ' handsy' thing..I agree it's one rule for him and one for the others. Sarah and Vito are superglued together, ridiculous amounts of hugging and kissing. Same goes for most of the others. I find it quite off putting and a bit disturbing if it's something they are ' told' to do.

One other thing I have noticed is the amounts of ' demonstrations' by the judges during their feedback this series, obviously something they have been told to do. Forever standing up and giving examples of dance moves which makes the crowd whoop and holler.

My ' out there' prediction is that Chris will quit due to exhaustion after Blackpool, as there is no way he will ever be in the bottom 2 and it will start to look extremely patronising.

Again I'm not seeing the joke @SoreenImBeggingOfYouPleaseDontTakeMyMan as I certainly didn't see any laughing or joking afterwards.

Plus joking about being a handsy old pervert isn't funny at all, especially given the lived reality of many (millions!) of women who put up with that in the workplace.

And especially given all the shenanigans that have gone on behind the scenes in Strictly - how anyone thought it would be funny is beyond me.

Yes maybe Chris will do a John Sargent and quit, although I hope not as what he is achieving is fantastic.
No wonder he looks exhausted- he doesn’t have any point of reference for any of the dances, so his body and mind must be working in overdrive. He has to think about other things sighted people simply don’t have to worry about .

That's very true @Pumpkincozynights - I think he's holding on until Blackpool & Dianne's family come over and then will be happy to bow out after that.
