Keep Dancing!

Will link the Spoiler and Video Thread in posts below, not as clever as Polka for embedding links!

I voted Sarah, Sam & Chris.

Katya wasn't happy with where Wynne had placed his hand. She subtly moved it while keeping the smile on her face. Was after Claudia spoke to Pete and Jowita. The moment is all over twitter.

Ahh that must have been when I saw her “face”

What do you mean?

This was also a bit strange x.com/thetvgrump/status/1845210401673445405?s=46&t=zeqvo7Iw1m8V4kXAX7nn1A

Stickystickysticky · 12/10/2024 23:02

That was kinda strange. The refused high 10! She looked visibly pissed off there which was weird cos after their dance she looked so happy with him.

Lentilweaver · 12/10/2024 23:07

Wynne's hand does look wandering and uncomfortable for Katya in that, though X is of course unreliable.

xsquared · 12/10/2024 23:09

Oh dear. I was just thinking they made a good team as well.

Never mind X, its all over the tabloid sites. I just hope he doesnt end up getting cancelled. Emotions run high during these shows and he was clearly chuffed with his scores tonight.

xsquared · 12/10/2024 23:11

They must have caught wind of the SM comments as Katya has posted this in her insta stories.

They must have caught wind of the SM comments as Katya has posted this in her insta stories.

For us non Insta users could you be so kind as to let us know what was said?

xsquared · 12/10/2024 23:22

They said:
"We were just messing around in the Clauditorium on Saturday night. It was just a silly joke and we want to say sorry."

Wynne repeats "Sorry".

Call me cynical, but I reckon someone from production must have instructed them to make that sm post. Katya did not sound like her usual chirpy self.

MrsPeterHarris · 12/10/2024 23:29

They've also nothing to apologise for, so that seems very weird!

Stickystickysticky · 12/10/2024 23:33

All very strange, if the bit where she refused to high five him was a joke , it would have made more sense if she'd pulled the face at him but then turned back and laughed or hugged him . It didn't seem very jokey to me.

Thanks and no doubt with all the trashy news pages running stories, BBC had to be squeaky clean and put it down to high jinx. Her face in that high 5 clip posted above shows how pissed off/eyeroll she was with him.

TennisWithDeborah · 12/10/2024 23:46

It’s surprising - they seemed to be gelling as a couple.

OhHaiOwlInYourTowel · 12/10/2024 23:48

Wynne did the hand thing last week too as I turned to my husband and made him rewind it as I thought I was seeing things.

MouseMinge · 13/10/2024 00:54

The hand thing was very creepy uncle trying to cop a feel. The other clip. She's not happy with him and I'm guessing it's nothing to do with the dancing and everything to do with him being handsy.

EsmaCannonball · 13/10/2024 01:20

As ever actual Come Dancing out-camped and out-entertained Strictly Come Dancing by a million miles.

Bet the woman who choreographed that winning formation routine had the brakes cut on her Ford Cortina. No-one crosses Peggy Spencer and lives.

A rumba to The Railway Children theme tune. Let's hope that didn't give the Strictly producers ideas or next year Movie Week might see some generic One Show presenter whipping off a red petticoat and gyrating against Kai got up as Bernard Cribbins.

Talking of completely inappropriate things, what cruel lag pinned Paddington down and shaved off all his fur? (Honestly, they've been trailing 'Luba will dressed as Paddington!' for two whole weeks and we get some pyjamas and ears.)

And why was Punam dressed as a non-binary Violet Elizabeth Bott? I knew she was in trouble when I saw her outfit and Gorka's chest of desperation.

My god, did Sarah's pizza come with a side order of GIANT HAM? I don't think I've seen such emoting since Emma thingy and Anton did that unintentionally hilarious VW to Send in the Clowns. (Did think Sarah was relatively harshly marked, though. She was miles better than Jamie.). Vito's trousers were wondrous.

AlexaSetATimer · 13/10/2024 01:34

Thanks for the new thread. I gave my 3 votes to Punam as I'd like her to stay. She's joyful.

I said at the start that I can't see how she can keep working as a GP and also have the time to dedicate to all the training needed to progress (and all the social media/interviews etc!) and I think tonight showed that - she forgot bits, seemed a bit overwhelmed and only her kicks at the end were a saving grace. But she could be so good if she was doing the training full time.

Shayne was forgettable.
Sarah's was too schmaltzy for me but I love Vito so please stay.
Chris was extraordinary. Dianne is doing a fab job (and I'm not usually a fan).
Was impressed by both Paul and Jamie giving it a good go, making it enjoyable.
I liked JB and Amy's rumba, sexier than I thought it would be, and JB did a fair share of the work.
Jowita looked stunning as always, lucky Pete if they are doing the horizontal tango.
Sam gave it a bash but still looks a bit stiff, I'd love to be samba rolled by Nikita.
Montell was better for me this week, wonder why she's had so much ballroom, it was classy, everyone rightly talks about Katya's amazing choreo but I think this year JoJo is also doing a great job of choreo.
Wynne was the most overmarked for me tonight, I wasn't impressed.
Tasha and Aljaz were technically fab and had to be given 10's when much much worse dances had 8/9's! That is my issue with overmarking early in the series - leaves nowhere to go when someone is so much better than the rest.

Nick to go I think!

outdamnedspots · 13/10/2024 07:15

Tasha was technically very good but the Charleston lacked any joy and fun. Not enough Charleston moves or slapstick for me. Too serious.

And Shirley got it right when she said it was 'professional' - Tasha is a pro dancer and shouldn't be on Strictly. 🤷🏼‍♀️

outdamnedspots · 13/10/2024 07:19

dollybird · 12/10/2024 21:52

Aljåz too over excited by having a good dancer. Feels a bit disrespectful to his previous partners.

He's just too over-excited in general!!

outdamnedspots · 13/10/2024 07:26

And why does Aljaz keep standing on the wrong side of Tasha, where the celeb should stand?

Wolfcub · 13/10/2024 07:34

The gifts of Wynne and Katya on Twitter from last nights show aren't good. Him sliding his hand round her and her removing it. Him going for a high ten and her pulling a disgusted face and turning away from him.

Wolfcub · 13/10/2024 07:35

outdamnedspots · 13/10/2024 07:26

And why does Aljaz keep standing on the wrong side of Tasha, where the celeb should stand?

This is the adjustment needed for her cochlear implant she needs to stand on that side

outdamnedspots · 13/10/2024 07:55

I wondered that. But why does it matter if she is being interviewed and the interviewer is in front of her?
