But in the report o read it also says the investigation is ongoing, whereas I thought it'd concluded.

I'm starting to think we won't hear the outcome of this. I think they have both had a loss of earnings settlement and signed a NDA. This is just my feeling, I could be completely wrong.

Yes, I saw that too while trying to find an update. Also saw an article saying he had shown WhatsApp messages from her 'gushing' about how helpful he was, and suggesting that he had had to support someone who was vulnerable 🤷

We have...Nancy, who was in one of the couples (Rhys) performing. We have Katya who was subbing with Max.
We have Jowita, Amy, Nadiya and Luba in troupe.

Well, there's denials from his side but that's the latest that's been dredged up - that some cast and crew are aghast at him being deemed as unproblematic as when on tour in 2022, a drunken night out ended with him and a female pro having a altercation unless it was a barney with the wife. Janette was presenting the tour

I've always thought Aljaz came across as one of the kinder, gentler pros. I hope these latest rumours aren't true, but it feels like it's just one negative story after another for Strictly now. It seems crazy that they have re-hired him if there is any truth to it, as that would just be inviting more scandal, which is exactly the opposite of what the show needs!

Who even knows? I have given up expecting men to be unproblematic.

I feel like the issue is that Strictly is the BBC's huge show, and either the press are now looking for any tiny thing that can tarnish it - or staff members are speaking up about every tiny thing so they can't later be accused of being complicit. If that makes sense.

That's probably true. Also true that we see only a tiny snapshot of the pros and slebs, so best not to be too invested in their kindness, niceness, or fake showmances.

Janette has got her book launch this coming week, she must be desperate to have this story come out now.

I mean, Aljaz seems to have got on well with his partners and it would be very odd for the BBC to bring him back to replace the scandalous pros if he was a scandal waiting to happen. IIRC, during his last series it was kind of obvious he was planning to leave so it doesn't make sense that the BBC got rid of him for something that happened after that series.

I miss the Aljaz that he was during his first three series. He was quieter and more serious. Around the time he was partnered with Daisy Lowe he started being more puppyish and repeating slogans all the time.

I'm so tired of all this now, so many rumours and accusations but nobody coming out and saying These Are The Facts impossible to know what to believe and not believe.

Yes, it's all getting very frustrating. They need to get an independent investigator in, put all the rumours to bed one way or another, deal with whomever needs to be dealt with, and move on. Or end. But it's unpleasant, especially for what is supposed to be a joyful, uplifting show.
