Also Siniakova/Machac could be back on (apparently they're just not sharing a bed at the Olympics - that could be down to the cardboard beds!)

I've enjoyed watching the doubles this Olympics - I usually agree with Daniil - too many people on court!

Fizzy. The whole 'are they on or off 'thing is confusing- things I read the other day suggested things went pear shaped earlier in the year -and the tell tale sign of lack of activity on social media being the conformation that all was not well.
When asked if they would still play together, Katerina said of course they would be professional. It was also Katerina woh instigated the initial split with Barbora at the end of last year- so maybe she's just having a bad year .

The way the pros play doubles, I do always get concerned about people getting hit.

Well they did it - it sort of looked like they were back together (I don't really understand social media either)

I'm missing the ceremony since my new fangled remote has re set the timers on my tv and turned it off.

Just watched the medal ceremony- lots of tears. But WTF were the Canadians wearing?? They all seemed so very happy on the podium, it was a very jolly ceremony- Felix was delighted , even in his pjs. And the Chinese pair haven't stopped smiling all week.

They are still being very cagey about whether or not they are actually back together though .(I'm way more invested in them now than I ever was in Tsitsidosa- they seem a bit more 'real'- dodgy shorts and all).

Men's doubles final due to start- seems quite nice that Matt Ebden gets to be in that, after his singles match (which probably shouldn't have happened).
