Fizzy to be honest, I don't think anyone buys his act anymore. He is so false- (if Danielle thinks Iga is insincere , how would she deal with Djok??) Every time he plays, whoever is commentating takes great pains to say how he's not as loved as other players but you know, he's misunderstood.

After nearly 20 years, he's clearly the problem, and his mind games are very obvious. He's a sulky man-child.

Djoko is an annoying, insufferable weirdo, but he is also the greatest male tennis player of all time. He does deserve an Olympic gold medal, and unlike most here I hope he gets it (but realistically he doesn't stand a chance against Carlitos.) That was a great lesson in tennis, he has so many tools to fight with and doesn't rely on just one strength- whereas a lot of ATP players are coasting on a big serve for example.

I'm also very happy to see Eastern European/ex-Yugoslavian Olympic representation, with Djoko and Donna Vekic in the finals. I think frankly not being from a powerful country or conventionally handsome is a big factor in why Djokovic isn't more liked- there are plenty of popular players with equal or worse court antics.

I agree - I just don't like him - he has got a lot of tools including saying that he's injured when he's clearly not, gamesmanship etc etc - where he's from or his looks are irrelevant to how I feel about him

I mean, it's sports. It's not subjective. The greatest in tennis is the one with the most major wins, which is Djoko. I don't think anyone would seriously argue against Serena being the greatest on the women's side.

I know Claire can be marmite, but I do actually quite like her- and she gets very emotional about stuff (as seen when Andy finished his match)
