Ready for the final on Wednesday!

Will Luke be a drag?
Will Ailsa's nerves hold out?
Will Pascha's cheery competence win the day?

I know the basics of draping but resist using it at all costs.

And it annoys me when the sewers who do drag pick a man for the final outfit because a man's shape is easier to drape for

That's a lot of ruffling for Luke to do.

not on board with this m2m. And yet again fitting clothes to a male body is way easier than on a woman.

I guess this is going to be a win for Luke.

I never managed to make a mannequin the sames size as me to try draping.

What about the sewers who don't do drag who choose a man?

Can you imagine the HORROR of being presented with a mannequin in your own measurements? I'd either take offence or cry.

I think I would have to emigrate from shame

I've seen a few online tutorials on how to make your mannequin into your size. I usually just stuff an old bra and pull on a close fitting vest-t-shirt top which i also stuff a bit (with towels)

Luke's outfit looks spectacular. But i prefer Pasha's. Ailsa's is... beautiful tartan.

Pasha’s is like something from Falcon Crest.

When they did kilts before they had the whole M4M just to do that. Ailsa is either very brave or very foolish.

Ailsa is draping on a man though so surely the same complaints apply?

The editing's all over the place - one moment Pascha's wearing her slippers and the next moment she’s got her gold lace-ups on. Tsk.

There are plenty of videos online for making a mannequin to your exact measurements. I have a standard one but she wears a stuffed bra and is roughly the right measurements.

But in general i am very cross that they are flippin' draping. That is a very specialised and specific way to sew, and i know countless of home sewists who never drape. This final is pissing me off.

Agreed. And Pascha's needs draping.
