What was the point of the Rose and Ruby storyline? I don't get what Ruby would gain from splitting up Kim and Will

Did Belle ever have access to the cameras though? I thought only Tom did 🤔

Well there's a slight titillation of Rose possibly being dead.

Kim's revenge is a bit lack lustre so I'm hoping she knows exactly what Will has done and the best revenge is yet to come.

I know, pretty shit plan from Ruby. Unless she would just revel in splitting up a married couple. But then Caleb's plan to take Home Farm was shit as well. Who comes up with these plans? Not exactly mastermind is it.

I don't like Liam anymore. Proper flip flop like Caleb. Loves Chas, dates Ella, falls for Ella, hates Ella, loves Chas, hates Ella more and tries to run her out the village again, snogs Ella 🙄

I'm sort of half watching it now. Missed the first 20 minutes or so. A wild Aaron has appeared.

The (finally) getting rid of Rose was a good point but what a load of old shite all that Dingle fisticuffs nonsense was.

Liam snogging ella is ridiculous.
Ella is ridiculous. She didn't even know she was pregnant.
When she found out she was pregnant after the crash, she didn't even want to be, and said she'd never felt she wanted to be a mum coz of what happened before. Then about 2 days later she discovers she'd had a missed miscarriage and yet now suddenly she's gutted.

And Liam totally flip flopping too. Ridiculous. The whole thing.

I wish they'd have a story where someone who got pregnant unintentionally/by the wrong person, miscarried and just went 'phew, thank God for that, lucky escape'. Liam should be over the moon, and rushing back to Chas saying woo hoo, there's nothing stopping us getting back together now.

It seems no one is allowed to be relieved at not being pregnant, even if they've never wanted to be a mum in the first place.

I tried for years to have a baby but that doesn't stop me knowing the huge relief at times in my life when I'd taken a risk I shouldn't have and my period came!

I quite enjoying Kim winding up Bob while she stayed at the B&B.

Moira needs to get over herself though and show just a touch of empathy for Cain.

So all those weeks of wondering what Ruby's motives were are just forgotten because Rose fesses up. I don't get it. But then I don't get the point of so many of the storylines at the moment. This one was particularly annoying and then fizzled out like a damp squib.

Rose/Ruby what was the point of that?? and how did they know each other?

Kim is suss about Will as he gave Rose money Kim is savvy...he wanted Rose to keep quiet hence the cash in an envelope but that raised Kim;s suspciions is my take lol!

I reckon it was Kim in the car as she wanted to confront Rose about what she said about trust....has Kim then offed her??!

There was no point to the Rose/Ruby story. The only good thing being it got rid of Rose - unfortunately we're still saddled with Ruby. As a PP said, so sick of stupid stories blowing in out of nowhere, lasting a few months and then fizzling out. Were we meant to believe that Rose randomly met Will at the hospital and somehow (it has never been revealed how they knew each other) got in touch with Ruby who was going to get Rose to sleep with Will to settle her debts.

Sounds like a heap of shite? That's because it was.

It's been Shite Central for a long time. Cain "teaching" Samson what's in store if/when he goes to prison was ott in my view. If the dopey lad's inmates find out he's called Samson then he's on a hiding to nothing.

As for Tom letting himself into the house to do whatever and nearly being seen by Aaron (I think). Do hey seriously think he'll get away with doing that repeatedly and nobody in a tiny village will see him - aye right.

Oh for the days of Betty and Edna - they didn't let anything get past them!

Yes that was good. Also I enjoyed the bit where she went round to Ruby's to have her say and get her posh liquer back! .Can't remember her exact words but they were excellently executed!

@Smidge001 I'm sure we will see Liam running back to Chas with joy after his snog (and possible one night stand) with Ella which he'll want to suddenly forget about. Then another pregnancy scare. It feels like we're all on the giant hamster wheel of Emmerdale 🙄

Liam is really getting on my wick. He's like Paddy - a buffoon. I just can't take them seriously as professional men with well respected jobs.

It's all such nonsense. There isn't a single story I'm enjoying.

I've been reading about Louise Marwood and her struggles with alcohol and addiction after she left Emmerdale. Thankfully she's doing well now and is performing at the Edinburgh Fringe. They killed the wrong White sister off!
