I'm waiting to see if Rafa is playing in the singles - he's supposed to be on at 12.30pm but it's a tight turnaround after his doubles match last night - he might think he has a better chance in the doubles

The tennis schedule is hard to follow - probably because there are so many matches but I think Andy and Dan are playing doubles at some point today as well

I've just seen that it's been confirmed that Rafa is playing singles. I'm in two minds about that. I almost wish he wasn't. but if he withdrew now, the SM would be full of stuff saying he's avoiding Djok (and he might not even win today).

Hope that Musetti managed to get to Paris in time for his match against Gael later

I’m quite surprised Rafa is playing singles. I hope his body holds up. I really enjoyed the doubles yesterday, Carlos’ doubles inexperience was showing but they really grew into the match.

Good idea Ice. My method of watching the Olympics is putting the telly on and watching whatever random thing is on. I ended up watching the surfing for hours last night I liked the commentators.

Norris has withdrawn - to be replaced by Stef Tsitsipas's brother - I really think they need to rethink the rules around replacing players who withdraw

I'm still not convinced that Rafa will be playing in the singles but he's due on PC court next so I guess he must be - just hope his body holds up - I want to see more of Nadalcaraz (I don't really want to see him play Djok)

That's my method too, Jane. because it has taken me 20 minutes to find the Discovery tennis channels again (that I managed to find eventually yesterday). So I watched diving for a bit.

Even Djok (who I never agree with) was saying the rules need looking at, since he knew his match up with Ebden was ridiculous (Matt having not played singles for over 2 years, but he was drafted in as the 'next in line' replacement).
