I wondered about the doubles Raahh

No one was in control and I wasn't focused

At the moment, he probably thinks he can do the doubles, but I wouldn;t be surprised if he drops it tomorrow.

But he is alive

My favourite bit was when he left the balls on the chair and had to go back for them

That was a tough match - he's going to be worn out - he's scheduled to play doubles after his singles match tomorrow afternoon

I'm sure that Casper would forgive him if he didn't want to play in the doubles (unlike Andy and Emma) but knowing Rafa he will still play?

Rafa about to start his singles -so far, I haven't seen anything to say he's not playing doubles too . I do think Casper would understand if he did bow out though!

Rafa really needs this to be a quick match after yesterday's epic.

I think Rafa is probably the sort of person who would want to keep to his commitments but he must be tired after yesterday's (very) long match

The draw for the tennis at the Olympics is out on Thursday I think - eek!

I remember last time that the Olympics coverage was a bit sporadic compared to to other years (I know there was a time difference, and Covid affected things)- but I think a lot of things were only available via Discovery. I did get to see a reasonable amount of the tennis though.
At least the time difference is better this time around - and the presenters will probably
be in Paris (not in a studio in Salford Quays, pretending it's Tokyo ).

Rafa has not started well, but after yesterday, I'm surprised he can move at all.

But it's still early days...

I really don't agree with the towel rule change

For some reason I've not seen much Olympic tennis - I think I've either been on holiday and they just showed local weightlifting or the time difference has been too much - I'm hoping that I'll get to see some of the tennis this year. Maybe if it's on the BBC it will be on the iplayer/red button?

I'm assuming that Clare will be in charge of the Olympics?

Claire does do a lot of the Olympics - last time, with Alex Scott.

I think the BBC have got a few retired Olympians on board this time around.

Yes, I was reading that! I think it was Gabby Logan who said with athletics they can sometimes start early in the morning and finish late at night, so not sure how they will work it.
