Jane, no Alize I can cope with her dizzy ways. She has a certain charm. And she does understand tennis.
Isa just doesn't have that connection with people.

Thanks Grouchy- I think he got confused by the 'bonus' walk and thought we might be talking him to the VET. .

Couldn't get a picture by the polling station sign, as there was a very lively JRT with her owner -and my dog was not in the mood to make friends .

I didn't take GrouchyDog to the polling station. Took the children instead. Remembered how DD1, aged about 4 at the time, asked me one time if men were allowed to vote.

The kids are watching Scooby Doo, so no tennis for me right now.

When my 3 were in primary, their school was used for a polling station, and they would get the day off, so I would take them me to vote. I remember DD2 asking once if we were 'going on a boat' and being very disappointed that were weren't.

The church hall I vote at is the same one my dog did his puppy training at he was absolutely dreadful he seems to recognise it .

Hubi could be about to make this match 2 sets all.

Or maybe not yet, Fils has taken it ot 5 games all.

Oh this is really not good. He was so close to levelling it up- and it looks like he's really hurt himself.

I think he's going to have to retire- but he's having an MTO first.

Which makes the fact Djok is playing after a bloody operation all the more annoying.

This is painful to watch.

And he's retired - so very sadHubi is lovely.

It looked quite worrying - hope it's nothing that puts him out for too long, with the Olympics around the corner.

So, Stan and Gael have restarted and are now in a tiebreak. Hope Stan can take it into a 4th set. His backhand is poetry in motion.

Bugger! Wanted to see more of that match! Well done Gael. Commiserations Stan. Another match up that deserved to be later in the tournament, like Jannik and Matteo.

Watching the Hubi knee injury made me cry.
Now Stan is out so quickly! Would have loved to see him get that set at least.
Both winners lovely though thank goodness, no Djok-type prima donnas.

Sad for Hubi- hope he will be ok.

Katie at risk of losing to Harriet - not how I thought that match would go. Djok winning but score closer than I might have expected so Fearnley seems to be putting up a good showing.

Work has been so mental this is the first match I've watched.
