Yay well done Billy! Camper van ✅

kazzaD66 · 20/06/2024 16:48

Camper van mentioned quite a lot fizzy including* *the post match interview Grin

kazzaD66 · 20/06/2024 16:48

X post fizzy Grin

Fizzywinegum · 20/06/2024 16:48

No cockney accent though Grin

JaneJeffer · 20/06/2024 16:49

Well done Billy

They said earlier that it was a transit van. Maybe he does a bit of tarmacking to fund his tennis.

Grin

I was imagining a nice vintage VW camper van - I’m sure that would look better in the film!

JaneJeffer · 20/06/2024 17:02

Andrew fancies Lore too. I might get to see a little bit before everyone comes in and want to see the football.

Back from parent's evening. Sad to see that Matteo lost- and Stef got Struffed. There have been some interesting results the last couple of days.

Fizzywinegum · 20/06/2024 19:31

Well done Lorenzo - some very pink people in the crowd - ouch!

ChessieFL · 20/06/2024 19:44

Not seen any actual tennis today but been scorewatching. Sad for Matteo, pleased for Jack!

I’ve just watched the Federer documentary. Hard watching that Laver cup finale again! I had forgotten how dodgy some of Roger’s youthful hairstyles were. Unfortunately there’s quite a lot of Djok in it including a topless shot. Plenty of Rafa as well though.

kazzaD66 · 20/06/2024 20:34

Hope to watch that at some point soon. Will try to block out Djok especially if he's topless Envy (not envy!)
Really hope he doesn't play Wimbledon. He's already gone back to No.2 in the live rankings, due to Carlos losing all the Queen's points.

There's a BBC documentary on Andy due out aswell.

JaneJeffer · 21/06/2024 13:32

Well done Jordan! "It's not brick dust"

JaneJeffer · 21/06/2024 13:32

The job has put years on Jamie

OP posts:
Raahh · 21/06/2024 13:41

I am very happy for Jordan- missed pretty much all the match as I am being hassled by having to do stuff. Grin

JaneJeffer · 21/06/2024 13:50

Exactly Jamie. Djokovic isn't going to be stuck on a waiting list for treatment.

OP posts:
Raahh · 21/06/2024 13:52

Far too much waffle at Queen's.
And I don't want to even think about Djok playing Wimbledon. If he does, he will win it won't he?It will be less than a month since he did it. That really shouldn't be enough time to recover properly from what he has had done and perform at the top level. But the magic drugs can do anything.

Raahh · 21/06/2024 13:53

Jane no. But even so, these things still take time to heal.

Or at least they do with other players. But somehow, he will be back . Hmm
humph.

Raahh · 21/06/2024 13:55

5-5 for Sascha and Arthur in Halle.

Halle is odd- the stadium is really echoey. Like the roof is shut, when it's not. I think it's the way the roof is designed.

Raahh · 21/06/2024 13:57

Joe's brother isn't bad looking.

JaneJeffer · 21/06/2024 13:57

They're on the padel again now

One day, padel will take over the world, Jane Grin

JaneJeffer · 21/06/2024 14:00

Billy and Albert could have a staring competition

Mustard hot - nice one Claire

I’ve not watched the Federer doc yet - I need to be emotionally strong to watch the sob fest - I remember when Roger had a sort of ponytail but his hair was still short in some places - that was a bit weird

I like Jordan Thompson - pleased that he’s doing well - AC seems a bit obsessed by Musetti so I hope he’s not going to be commentating (perving) on that match - it probably is the first time that he’s seen him though!

I was talking to my DM yesterday - she said that Clare Balding’s necklaces really get on her nerves (I wonder where I get my grumpiness from Grin)
