The court looks lovely at Queen's- at Stuttgart, it was already a mess on the first day last week. Obviously, this court has been barely touched.

I think the Wimbledon purple is a nicer shade and not so in your face. Here it looks like they sprayed everything in the way.

It's not quite the right shade of purple for me, for it to be 'Wimbledon'purple. I don't know. It just seems too bright.

I'm glad the sun is out down there - it's been raining up here again (though we have a glimmer of sun now). It would have been a bit rubbish if this tournament was plagued by the weather.

Couple of results from Halle- I saw earlier that Felix AA had retired in him match- so I hope he's ok. He was just starting to get some results together. And Sonego won his match.

I’ve been out this morning so just switched on - I don’t like the purple at Queens - it’s just too purple - like Barney the Dinosaur purple!

I think I’ve managed to miss AC (for now) - he would be telling us all that no one had ever heard of Holger if he was commentating this match

I'm not sure if the music is new, Fizzy( can't remember last year either!) But Andrew Cotter was very bemused by it all, and I think he's determined to have the stands up and 'bopping' by Sunday.
