I did manage to see the end of the Jack/Matteo match but missed the ceremony - all sounds very odd! Also saw the end of Katie and Emma’s match - pleased for Katie and still a good result for Emma given how long she’s been out. Hope Katie wins the final!

Yes that would be funny - he was on Radio 5 talking about football the other morning - I wasn’t sure whether to take him seriously or not

I'm not surprised. I love Matteo- but that was Jack's moment- and they couldn't have made it any more obvious that they hadn't planned for anyone other than Berrettini to win. They even spent more time talking about a bunch of past champions than they did about him.

Katie’s retained her title. She looked so happy! A good day all round in the Katie/Alex household.
