Finally feeling a lot more human than I have in recent days, thoug still wobbly and spotty. But it's a start.

I have seen some pictures now via FB (don't do Twitter) and they are funny, Rafa does not look quite as at home as he does on his yacht
I can imagine they have a genuine friendship, and not just one for the cameras- you can't fake the tears at the Laver Cup final.

I liked the bit where they were talking about the first time they spoke to each other. Roger asked if he was nice. 'You were a bit arrogant' replied Rafa

Watching the men's doubles- it's raining but they are still playing . Lots of mopping up of the lines with little squeegee sponges .It's always hard to tell from the tv how hard the rain is- the spectators are fully covered in brollies and ponchos.

It's only when they show a close up camera angle you can see it's not just drizzle.
The lines might get a bit slippery.

They have finally decided to suspend the match in Rome.
I will probably have to do something now.

I disappeared for a bit, and the match must have resumed and finished pretty quickly.

The Italians could be in for a win this afternoon if they can keep this up. Errani and Paolini are playing pretty well. Gauff isn't playing with Pegula(I think she may still be injured). I don't know much about Routliffe.

Probably a bigger crowd there to watch than there might have been, due to local interest. (it's by no means full, though).

Despite complaining about how they always discuss the heights of these players, I am actually fascinated by how Sascha actually seems much taller and skinnier. Might be camera angles- and it's not that Jarry is even heavier. According to the ATP site, the both weigh 90kg.

Which begs the question- do they weighed before each match, like boxers or jockeys? Because how do they know (The figures for some haven't changed for years, mind you ).
