I’m pretty new to the programme so don’t know Toms link to Chas. I thought he was connected to the King family?!

He is a King, yes. But Chas used to go out with his father Carl. Who was a complete hottie. (Younger brother to Jimmie). And who was totally gorgeous and properly loved her til the 11th hour when presumably the writers needed a way to get rid of him and so turned him into a rapist so that Chas would donk him over the head, think she'd killed him but actually someone else did (was it another emmerdale mass murderer?). I still miss lovely Carl.

@Smidge001 yep, another Emmerdale mass murderer killed Carl. Chas bopped him over the head to escape being raped but Cameron was the one that actually killed him. Chas actually then had a relationship with Cameron (not realising he was a killer obviously) and spent months thinking she killed Carl and going slightly insane over it.

Oh I vaguely remember that storyline @Smidge001 (also a relative newbie to Emmerdale). Who did the final donking?

Cameron was a great villain. The way he killed Gennie was absolutely heartbreaking 😢

Hopefully Lydia will say something to the other vets and they'll look up what tests Piper's had, only to discover that she hasn't had any. Or a stock check will show the missing drug that Tom's used.
I'm off to search for spoilers because I want to know how much longer the Tom/Belle storyline will be dragging on (won't post them here).

They've had over 350 complaints to OFCOM about what Tom did to Piper.

So, I’m quite a few episodes behind but I have to say this.

Ella getting job as GP receptionist was ridiculous. No recruitment process; just was around and magically gets job.
Then Liam is dating her within five minutes despite being her boss (and massive age gap and no chemistry).

Ella actress also confusingly looks very like the other young equally tawny-haired actresses playing Gabby and Dawn. I have to sense check who I’m looking at.

I wonder how many they got when Tom scalded Belle or punched her in the stomach
