Well, I'm very impressed with Rhona's restraint that she didn't swing for Gus there. I hope the jury sides with Rhona. There's no reason they shouldn't given the ridiculousness of the story.

They can then focus on convicting Gus and little Ivy can return to the village to grow up as a serial killer.

Well she did run off with Ivy so I reckon they’ll find her guilty. Smug Gus will disappear and in 4/8/12 years from now Ivy will reappear when Gus falls down a well, or goes up in a puff of smoke or some other far fetched storyline.
They could have done this so much better.

Agree @Andthereyougo I think it's such an interesting legal point that Rhona is biologically the mother but not the legal mother but they fucked up with the ridiculous way of handling it.

I was laughing last night at the scene with Kerry sitting with the gaudy blue necklace draped on her neck dreaming about the fortune it was going to raise to fund the wedding . I’m no expert but it looks like something you could buy for about £15. I think her big plans are heading for disappointment.

At the start of the show, I think Mary called Rhona sweetheart which was a slight improvement. I thought they might have read comments by people complaining about how ridiculous it was calling your very grown up daughter Poppet, but no - we got at least another 2 bloody Poppets before the end.
