To me, Caleb and Ruby look about the same age. I get the feeling they maybe had an inappropriate relationship that had something to do with the children's home but she doesn't seem considerably older than him

They are indeed a weird pair @Jitterybugs. Before Ruby arrived Caleb was a ruthless villain who was capable of punching his own son. Now Ruby is here he's turned into a right wuss.

I may be thick and not very technologically minded but say Belle deviates from her planned route. If Tom confronts her about it, she'll know he tracked her phone.

Did Tom and Belle have some sort of relationship in the past as teenagers maybe? I’ve never seen his character before but there were a lot of Kings I think. If so has he planned all of this as revenge for something, or is he just a bog standard psycho?

They did @Andthereyougo. He was in it as a child and can be seen on Classic Emmerdale at the moment. This Tom is the fourth actor to play the part.

Nothing would surprise me. The nonsense with Nate shagging Moira to get his own back on Cain who was his father by some affair with a barmaid that didn't appear to have happened for example.

Tom has always been a bit weird. When he was in it before as a teenager he was stalking and terrifying the life out of Chas so he has form for being an abusive weirdo.
