Just caught up! I hate the early episodes, I know I have to watch them to get all the background but, get me to the honeymoon/dinner party/commitment ceremony.

So, Tim & Sara - liked them to start and could see the sexual attraction but, things started to go downhill pretty quick. He's not careful with his words ("I need to to help me", "you need to relax") and she's hard work. Will be fiery, full of tears and walking off (and producers looking for them in the dark), performance flouncing!

Cassandra & Tristan - she is lovely and her Dad just perfect. He seems very sweet and full of the very best intentions. But, she needs a Man, someone to sweep her off her feet and look after her physically and emotionally. I'm not sure their relationship will be anymore than brother/sister and I'm not sure if she will be brave enough to tell him so.

The rest of them - can't remember any names yet - the older one with the odd voice scares me; the 'nerdy' one will either be this seasons sweetheart or will turn face and be the worse one; the gay guys are both very handsome; the girl in black with her boobs hanging out might be vacuous and a handful!

It's gonna be a wild ride if the opening sequence was any indication!

Saw most of it. I'd forgotten how truly vulgar most of them are. 🌹

I agree @JellyBeanFactory , I thought Sara and Tim would be great, but he keeps putting his foot in it, and she seemed to immediately decide he couldn't be over his ex after six months, without giving it a moment to find out. I think they will be a rollercoaster and no idea where it will end up.

Cassandra and Tristan obviously both deserve someone lovely. I'm not sure about them... it could well end up in the friend zone.

I'm not is disagreement that someone who was in a six year relationship and about to propose probably needs a bit longer than 6 months to fully heal .

Especially since the application process would have taken a fair few months before the actual wedding

Tbh, I am in favour of this earlier time as i can decompress before bed, sometimes needed after a very shouty dinner party or couples' retreat, but i understand not practical for everyone.

Tried to watch the reunion last night but gave up as it was giving me the itchy ick!
On paper, very successful season! Three couples still together, plus one recycled couple, which is unprecedented as a 'result'.

But alas they are a very uncomfortable watch. So screechy, so fake, so manufactured.

Not sure if this be the fault of the production team, trying to rehash tired old drama, a bad edit or could be that it just wasn't an appealing year, personality wise.

Maybe they were all better people individually or in couples (tho obvs not all!) and it was mainly their group dynamic that was dysfunctional.

Anyhoo, better grab the sofa picnic as it is nearly time!
