I love MAFS Australia, and it's started again this week in Oz. Does anyone fancy a watch along? I watch on SouthHemiTV.

Already desperate to discuss the first two couples.

She's scared to speak up to him. Who wouldn't be, the way he's cutting her off and telling her she's delusional and jutting his jaw aggressively at her?

I don't know her exact reasons for writing stay. Maybe like most of them she wants to stay on the show and enjoy the adventure of it, or get something out of the exposure; or maybe she wasn't convinced until the talk with Ridge, where he backed her up on her feelings over that initial couch comment, after everyone else told her it was just her past issues and her "walls", that she had a right to her feelings on the matter.

I don't know her exact reasons for writing stay. They must be pretty compelling to choose to remain in a situation where you’re scared.

Gosh, you have a strange way of misreading things. I thought it was clear, from the anxiety in her voice and her demeanour, that she was scared to speak up to him in that conversation. I did not say she was living in fear of him.

I can't imagine how anyone could swallow the "poor old Dickie" act. He does not seem to be a nice guy, at all.

I'm catching up. Omg was Sara roasted on the couch.. that was painful to watch.

Long term I don't think any of them will last. Lucinda's voice grates on me and she's too full on for Tim.

Tori is a PITA.

It's a real pity because for a marriage show, as I said before, half of them (Lucinda!) are there really to further their own careers.

Is Dickie the older guy? Nah he's not a nice old man. You could see that from the photos experiment. At least some of the other guys put their wives top even if some might have been telling white lies.

Dickie gives the impression he's lovely, sweet, best mates with his ex-GF/wife whatever but he gives me huge creep vibes. I mean I do like his vibe, dancing by the pool, but he gives off - married for years guy, now I want fun/excitement and I'm down with the kids.

So from today’s episode, I can see that Richard is painting Andi as the person who has created all the problems. He is not listening to her, he does comment or huff and puff, when she is talking. Jutting his jaw when he’s angry and not accepting that any of this is his responsibility. I still go by my vibes that he’s not very nice, he puts on the poor me look and says adjectives such as despondent and sad about himself. Yet he is not acknowledging Andi’s feelings at all. Blaming her past trauma.
I really hope that they both leave, it is not healthy for her to be in this relationship.

Sara and Tim, he clearly has mug written on his forehead and a very low bar. He, like Tori, won’t see the wood for the trees until much later.

Wow, Richard lives up to his nickname! He says she "had her 7 minutes" well, bully for that. Unless they were super sonic minutes, he didnt listen for more than 2.

Loving Timothy and Lucinda though - when she talks normally she is fab, such a funny person.

Icky Dicky is vile. He gave off creepy AF vibes to me as as soon as he was introduced before the wedding when he was whining about not looking his age and wanting a younger girlfriend. He totally gives off the vibe that he wants to be completely selfish in a relationship.

As soon as I saw him rock up to his wedding on a Harley I knew he'd be trouble.

It's interesting when you read some of the back stories behind some of the stars, who are in it for Instagram fame and likes etc.

Round of applause for Tristan for not yelling telling Icky Dicky that Andi was trying to tell him how she felt, and he wasn't listening. Respect 👌

I like Lucinda more than I did before, though the voice is way too much.

Please, I repeat, this is not representative of Australia at all! It's embarassing how awful most of them are. We cringe year after year ( but sadly we watch it). DOn't you have a similar show that is horrifically embarassing but you still watch ( something about essex?) Light hearted fun for the most part except when they cast sensitive people which I think is terrible . Damn John should hang his head in shae if he really is a psychologist. ( Tristan, Natalie).
Oh, and if people didn't now the lady who used to be the 3rd expert sadly died early this year. She said she thought it was not appropriate or similar to be on the show anymore due to her morals so hasn't been on the last few series. . Sad as she seemed lovely, NZ lady with the dark hair Trisha Stafford.

I admit, I was completely wrong about Lauren. I now love her and her one liners. She has more balls than all the men put together.

Andrea is way too good for Dick. That’s never going to last.

I’m enjoying Timothy and Lucinda. I just wish she wouldn’t talk like that, so nasal.

I laughed so much at Lucinda and Timothy last night they seemed to be having so much fun. I really hope that this is the start of him changing his life and finding good things, it's not nice to see someone that broken by life.

He is awful, she needs to start running and running fast. When he says he wants things to go back to the way they were before, what he's really saying is he wants sex.

Tori and the elf, both really horrible people, and what is it with him clutching the rugby ball all the time? He was practically salivating over Jade, he's never been flirty like that with Tori before. Also, does Tori have working legs? She is always sitting down on the sofa, she doesn't seem to move at all.

Yes, so much denial, deflection, and DARVO - and particularly awful of him to hammer her with her past trauma at the dinner table (over and over until she cracked, and then his eyes gleamed), given she has apparently made it clear to him and to production that she doesn't want her ex, who was abusive to her, brought up, as he is some sort of big cheese around her local town and she doesn't want repercussions when she leaves the show and goes back home.

I know it's not representative of Australians as a whole, there are 'types' everywhere.

It's funnier now I'm watching them and seeing how it all pans out.

@chaosmaker - it's either contestants who apparently go on there for instagram likes and star content, apparently Natalie is on there for her instagram profile to be improved.

Andrea should have said, I've gone off you because you are a despicable man who can't listen and just wants to boast about me as a conquest. Which he would interpret as her issues with her ex.

I was wondering with Andrea and Dickie - if they'd gone a bit too fast with the sex stuff. But yes, he was definitely into the conquest side.

If you look online you'll see gossip about the others, I mean Tristan and Cass, they're never gonna sleep together. Some of the other couples, I'm unsurprised about but there is one couple, who look really cute together.

I actually really like Lauren - I mean she calls out that twat Jack for a start! Why do so many women ruin themselves with fillers/botox though? Her eyes look crazed, like some cartoon character! Tori is a complete and utter pita, bitch and smug with it.

If only she’d just told the truth. She doesn’t want to be with him and sees no future in the relationship. How easy would it be to just say those words? Obviously there would then be no drama for the cameras.
