Hi @EachandEveryone Rhona used to be married to Gus (which was a surprise to everyone) they had frozen some embryos (which was a surprise to everyone) Gus stole Rhona's passport and the embryos (which was a surprise to no one) which were implanted in his new wife who then died after giving birth. So Gus is guilty of a worse crime than Rhona and should have been reported as soon as they found out.

I only half watched, as I do most days, I still don't understand why rhona didn't report gus in the beginning or again when he abandoned ivy and left her in their care.
Oh wait, I know! Because that would make sense.

Rhona was very good tonight, I know we say she'd never leave Leo and in her right mind she wouldn't but she's not in a good way at all, I hope Gus goes to prison for what he did, but he won't and I've an awful feeling that within a week they'll all be playing happy families together.

@EachandEveryone I've often wondered the legal rights Rhona has over Ivy. Saw an interview with Zoe Henry last week and yes, whilst she is Ivy's biological mother, she has no rights whatsoever. It is the same situation as a surrogate, the woman who gives birth is legally the mother. I think Ethan alluded to this a couple of weeks back when Rhona was seeking legal advice.

The whole embryo theft, fraud and abandoning a baby for weeks on end is a whole other can of worms.

To be fair, all of the soaps have been pretty dire so no surprise Emmerdale winning. As much as I love Cain, surprised he got best actor as he's not had any major storylines really but at least it wasn't Charles/Wendy/Chloe.
