For anyone who tries to avoid spoilers for Love Island!

Speculation/theories etc are more than welcome, but, please, please, don't mention anything that hasn't aired yet, or that hasn't appeared on the official Love Island app/First Look.

Well Molly's not in to Chris, and I'm not convinced he's in to her either (because of Callum)

No one is choosing Kaz (again) which isa shame as she's so much nicer now she's not shrieking

Callum needs to go, he's being such a wet blanket.

Callum and Mollie need to decide quickly if they want to be together. It’ll be interesting to see if Mollie picks him in the recoupling.

Who do you think Josh will pick? Georgia H? That’s a shame as Anton and her seemed to be vibing. As an aside Anton seems to have really matured, he seems like a decent chap.

Poor Lib, she’s just not the right type of girl for this show.

Lib and Hannah are so obviously (and literally) on the bench, and Kaz with them.

I wonder what order the producers will choose for the girls to pick?

As there's no spark for 3 (which is nearly half a villas-worth) then we need some much funnier/happier/easy going friendship couples. I can see Hannah in that, less so the other two

Actually, I've had a re think about this. Yes, I think Molly went into Casa to steal Callum originally (because that's the name of the game) but the more recent kiss with Chris? Well, I'm now thinking it was quite manipulative of Chris (perhaps unbeknown to him) and in that situation, she felt 'obliged' to kiss him. I see that as a former people pleaser who perhaps used to do the same sort of thing when I was younger. I also think Chris is the sort of lad who, now he's found some confidence in life with girls, may be trying to hard and is maybe getting it a bit wrong (easy done, and again ive seen it before in my younger dating years)

The more I see this type of behaviour in general, the more I think it's actually quite damaging. The whole ethos behind LI is to overthink, overshare, and feel obliged to get off with people because its what's expected. Its the reason a LI type show wouldn't really work with 35+ age group. It's all about manipulation for entertainment.

I may be overthinking it myself, but we all know that the show, and others like it, has a history of borderline exploiting the (young, and sometimes vulnerable) contestants.

Im glad you said that re Chris, as i also felt like he shouldn't have tried to kiss her at that point.

Chris has now said he doesn't fancy anyone else who is in there at the moment.

Which means that (despite any reservations he might have that there's still game playing and perhaps real attachment with Callum) he's giving it his best shot. Which means making sure he's not friend-zoned (hence kiss) and letting it be known (by his little chat to Luis (?)) that kiss happened and he's definitely attracted.

Everyone in there must know how very popular Chris was with the public, and how much more people wanted to see of him. So for any Islander, it's a shrewd move to be close to him, whether as potential love interest or as friend

It's been really obvious hasn't it? All of them have done this before, and all of them know that this former geeky lad is now mega popular with the public. Rather funny, really and again, something you see happen IRL (usually at school reunions when the girls are like flies round shit with someone who turned out good looking!) 😆

Also, Josh's eyes really scare me.

I didn't see Series 1, so Josh's new to me. And from that perspective, I really haven't seen enough of him yet to form an opinion.

Presumably he'll pick either Georgia S or Georgia H?

It's been driving me mad, as I knew it hadn't been 9 years since I'd 'seen' Josh. I've just googled and of course he was with Charlotte Crosby at one point. I don't recall what programme they were on together, but it was an awfully toxic relationship.

I noticed he talked when entering the villa about how his two businesses are going well. I wondered what they were, but can only find reference to his 'X rated Only Fans'

Maybe on the side he's a dog walker who also takes in ironing.......

They hosted ‘Tattoo of us’ together I think.

He was on her reality show too.

I think Anton is more fancieable this time around.

It’s a shame about Molly and Callum as I think they still have feelings for each other but neither want to be the first to admit it. Callum isn’t the best at voicing his feelings which appears to be exactly what Molly wants him to do.
If only he could express his feelings half as good as Mitch then Molly would be know where she stood.

When I say “ like Mitch” I mean with some honesty attached to it, unlike Mitch. It was snidey what Mitch did to Kaz just so he could get Demi but that’s Mitch for you, unfortunately he hasn’t changed.

I think Callum is trying but he just doesn’t really have all the tools. He’s right though, why did molly bother picking him if she’s not going to talk to him?

Cannot stand how Molly is treating Callum, re couples with him then palms him off, speaks to him like c**p and blames him for everything, narcissistic woman right there! She shouldn't string him along like that, just put him out of his misery, I haven't seen her be nice to him or even smile at him once !!!

Chris is exhausting. Watching with my 21 year old daughter last night and she said it's like he's playing a character not being who he is. Yep. I've
known guys like this, who perform the funny man 24/7 and it's so tedious and not sexy.

Yeah, he is absolutely trying far too hard. Just goes to show that young people now feel a pressure to act a certain way as they feel that's what's expected of them. I feel like it's been exacerbated by needing to "be a better version" 2nd time round. It's exhausting seeing him act like that. These poor folk are going to end up totally exhausted by the expectation of being switched on 24/7. Such a bloody shame.

Actually, it's like groundhog day with exactly the same people finding themselves in the exact same scenarios.

Boys be like "Ah, Man! I don't know what I've done wroooooong"

Girls be like "He kissed me and now he's chatting with X, Y, Z"

If you keep doing the same thing, don't be surprised if you keep getting the same results.

I like Chris but he needs to stop trying too hard.
I'm hoping he settles down as time goes on.
