I’ve just seen this too. Such a good man. Was lucky enough to meet him, he was lovely to my mum.

Ulysees · 20/02/2024 09:38

That's young so sad.

GrouchyKiwi · 20/02/2024 09:39

Oh, that is sad. He seemed like a really lovely man.

PolkadotsAndMoonbeams · 20/02/2024 09:39

Yes, I've just seen. That is sad. I know a few people who went to events he was at/running and he was apparently always very nice and happy to chat.

Oh how sad. I loved his partnerships with Lisa Riley and Deborah Meaden. And so young.

EineReiseDurchDieZeit · 20/02/2024 10:40

AnneShirleysNewDress · 20/02/2024 12:13

Oh dear so sorry to read about Robin, and so young too.

Very sad news.

CaveMum · 20/02/2024 15:02

So sad about lovely Robin 😢

Girlontherailreplacementbusservice · 20/02/2024 19:55

Such sad news. I liked his time in the show and he was reputed to be a thoroughly nice guy.

Deborah wrote a lovely tribute on Twitter. I’d heard that they’d stayed in touch after her stint. She genuinely enjoyed partnering him I think.

Kristina seems frustrated about the way he (dancers generally?) was treated. It was quite a stinging statement.

tennissquare · 20/02/2024 21:42

@PastorCarrBonarra , yes Robin visited Deborah's mother in SA just a few weeks ago. (I think he was visiting via a cruise ship he was working on). It's very sad, I saw Robin dance with Burn the Floor in London in July 22 and I sat very near Len Goodman in the audience.

Sorry, have realised should probably have put clips on separate tribute thread or the video thread.

SequinsandStiIettos · 20/02/2024 21:55

I would imagine it's the grief talking pastor I didn't see her statement as stinging, more that she was hurting/justifiably angry that
a) dancers are disposable and it's a short career
b) the media were swamping her for a statement
