Oti has had her baby!

I think some of them do the Xmas special as a trial run. Some of the better dancers have become “main” contenders- only the better ones though!

Christmas ones are always a bit flat somehow. Watched last night. Right winner, and what a fabulous dancer Shirley Ballas is. You can tell just from those little bits they do.

I watched last night and I really enjoyed it, I thought they all seemed very nice. Mind you, Christmas Day here was busy, so I think part of my enjoyment was just from sitting in a comfy chair with a glass of wine and some festive nibbles.

I liked the winner although I did think at one or two points in his dance he was about to plough Nancy into the front row of the audience. He was very enthusiastic!

They don't get very long to train do they?

Just saw Charlotte Church on Celebrity Chase. If she has started doing reality TVI do hope she might be up for Strictly.

Ooh she'd be good. Her ex Gavin Henson was fab. She's done The Masked Singer but iirc she had Long Covid so maybe she won't feel fit enough? She's also quite private so would hate the press intrusion that comes with it.

Janette and Aljaž were on Escape to the Country tonight. They seemed really good fun.

I only caught the end of Escape to the Country so will have to try and find it on iPlayer. They did seem good fun! I liked Janette’s sparkly wellies.

Just watched strictly. Jamie and Tillie were the best so a fair win. It always feels a bit rushed tho from training to trophy in less than 2 hours.

The judges were a little harsher this year. Last year everyone was throwing out tens left right and centre!

Shirley is an outstanding dancer.

Met them a few years ago - DD won a private dance lesson with them in a charity thing. They were so lovely. Aljaz is very smiley and a million miles an hour, Janette is the more sensible and calm one. Really nice people.

Have also met them they are so lovely.
