Do you not remember Hamza's car crash showdance from last year? Didn't do him any harm.

I do. That's why I'm waiting. I gave all my votes to Hamza pre showdance last year then felt bad for Helen.

As someone who performs lifts semi-regularly (uni-level cheerleader), it is so hard to save lifts and make it look like it could have been part of the routine. That was one of the best saves I've ever seen, it could have been part of the routine and she should be proud. Vito should as well, he wasn't in an easy position to catch her but he did!

I understand why she's gutted though, you perform a show dance once and if it goes wrong that's it. The rest of the dance was fab (although I agree with the PPs that she looked nervous at the start bless her)

There was another one earlier where she landed semi-lying on the floor which looked very awkward.

It's a real shame. I started out thinking my votes were going to go to her, but I don't really think so now.

Ellie is still my favourite. She's been on a journey. Layton is expected to be perfect. She's been trying harder as she's had a harder journey.

Actually lessens her. Despite her ability to look good in a bin bag.

It did go wobbly, but good on her for giving it a go.

I like her best when the dance has storytelling. Going too gymnastic leaves out her glorious expression.

I think if the do an 'old Hollywood' to the La La Land megamix, it will be a real crown pleaser.

I dont mind if Layton wins. Its not his fault he was asked to go on Strictly. Who would turn it down?
