It started off brilliantly but she gradually seemed to lose confidence and fluency as it went on so it became inevitable that the last lift was going to go wrong.

Eeeek I got nervous with that last lift. Bless her, she looks gutted.

That was over-reliant on tricksy lifts rather than actual dancing.

I really don't see how Shirley can describe the last lift as a "tiny" error. And it wasn't the only one.

That wasn't really my thing but I can see it was good. Apart from the end

I loved that and loved all the lifts! Such a shame the last one went wrong.

Yes I thought the lifts were good. Shame about the last one. I enjoyed it. Lots of kissing from Vito at the end there!

I've never been into Gladiators either, so completely agree!

I think (apart from that tiny bit at the end) she did really well. I didn't love the dance or the music though

I wish they'd some something nearer their American Smooth.

Wonder if this could go the other way for Ellie now, I'd have said she'd have been a sure fire win, but I'm not so sure now with the mistakes.

They chucked everything at that. She's got no fear but the last lift didn't work. It reminded me of their couples choice.

Yes getting tired at the end there. Probably too many lifts.

I think she lost her balance in the last lift. She said “I’m sorry” to Vito at the end. She did lose some energy part way through, but who can blame her.

Showdances are always a bit odd, that one contained more dance choreography than a lot of others I’ve seen.

Ellie’s costume is great, works well with all those fab lifts. Shame the last one wasn’t perfect, but a great routine!

It was such a hard routine though... I'd say she pulled her it off (bar the end)

Ellie has been amazing this series. I hope this doesn’t knock her confidence for the last dance

I disagree with the judges. I don't think it was flawless with a final random error, I think the hesitancy crept in from about half way through.

Hope that doesnt leave the road open for Layton to win!
