Just an idle thought that came to me. Do they have a contingency to cover the possibility of the professional getting ill or injured just before or during the final? Something like an understudy who knows the steps who could take over?

I presume they'd probably try get one of the other pros to step in to cover like Kevin did with Alex when Neil was injured - though not the final..

The scores are completely pointless on this. They give no guidance at all! Although the judges probably know this so just say and score how they like, unless its completely obviously awful.

Is Shirley getting married after the show. Her dress is a bit 'I'm getting married in the Morning' - In Fairness she has a great figure just a bit bridey looking.
