perhaps the BBC could come up with some kind of "unlisten again" - a programme to erase all those unfortunate listening moments? I would like to erase a number of Radio 4 afternoon plays that involve dairymaids giving birth in cowsheds with much grunting and groaning.

Ringworm · 14/03/2008 14:54

Adam and Ian did some pretty hot snogging in a polytunnel I seem to remember.

peasholme · 14/03/2008 14:58

theyoungvisiter : that is genius!! Please make it happen

seeker · 14/03/2008 15:11

Oh yes, unlisten again - what a good idea!

Could I erase the programme where I found myself liking Michael Portillo?

No, seeker, you can't. And you can't erase that outing-yourself post...

Blandmum · 14/03/2008 15:13

I read that as Licking M protillo [barf emoticon]

seeker · 14/03/2008 15:14

OK - Licking Michael Portillo or having sex with Will Grundy? One or the other or you die. Which?

theyoungvisiter · 14/03/2008 15:17

oh seeker - you should have namechanged for that one!

Habbibu · 14/03/2008 15:18

Would depend where you had to lick MP.

seeker · 14/03/2008 15:21

I've got an even worse confession.....no - I can't do it......

oh. Actually, apart from his essential ToryBoyness, I do have a soft spot for WH - he's one of the funniest speakers in the House of Commons, and clearly quite bright. Liking MP worse, I think. It's a bit like being friends with a stick of lard.

seeker · 14/03/2008 15:33

I'm actually much more ashamed of liking (a bit) WH. He is completely unrepentant - while you do get the feeling that MP has a element of "an examined life" about him.

theyoungvisiter · 14/03/2008 15:34

I found myself liking WH 110% more after he left the leadership, he seemed to sort of relax and rediscover his sense of humour.

So I slightly sympathise with that one .

Oh, bunny, shhh. It really is a good thing you're so charming in other ways...

I think most MPs seem nicer when they are not so much in the limelight, but they all seem most human when they stop being MPs.

Think I probably prefer WH to Mp because he's northern.

theyoungvisiter · 14/03/2008 15:41

a tory rabbit!!! shock!

[hums "we'll keep the red, flag flying here" under breath]

Once more with feeling, seeker? Have to say, DC is hardly laying on the charm right now...
