Been a strictly fan since the get go but not enthralled with it this year…not enough of them left and it seems a forgone conclusion that Ellie will win.

I can't wait for tonight! Really looking forward to seeing the two contrasting dances from Layton and Nikita especially. I would love for them to get through to the final without having to be in the dance off again.

I'll be out for the final. I'm going to the football and visiting friends on the way back. I'll watch on catch up but it seems to be a foregone conclusion.

there has definitely been better years I agree, passes the evening although I've not been wowed ! I did love Angela s at Blackpool and Anabells couples choice I thought that was just lovely.

Layton is now outpolling Ellie and Vito on Digital Spy. Previous weeks he was barely making the top 4. Of course, Digital Spy only provides a snapshot of a small cross section of its members and not the viewing population.

I think the only person I can be confident of not being in the dance off is Ellie.

I don't think he's unpopular. Just a very marmite contestant.

At the start of the series, I was ready to dislike him for being divaish and demanding, but over the series I have warmed to him.

His attitude and work ethic impresses me more than his dancing, and I have not ruled out voting for him, if I like his dance.

I don’t get the feeling that Bobby is really that bothered about winning, but is a people pleaser. He says he’s never seen the show before, so he’s only been told how special it is to lift the glitter ball. I remember him talking about his mum in an interview, and asked if he would dedicate a dance to her, again it was someone else’s idea that he went along with. I don’t think he’s ever seen dirty dancing, but again he spoke about the ‘iconic’ lift, hmm 🤔 He seems like a lovely guy but it’s probably not going to have the same emotional feeling for him, as it will for Annabelle.

Looking forward to tonight though.

I think the more flak Layton gets the more some people are determined to vote for him.
My money is still on Ellie though.

I don’t mind who gets the boot this weekend. They’ve all raised their profile and all have been around long enough to get a career/profile boost (if that’s what they want of course, only Ellie has had a particularly bad year job-wise and I suspect that Annabel is participating for different reasons). All of them are fab and have a good 2024 to look forward to.

I think Layton is quite popular, and people appreciate his talent, but the viewers do like a "journey".

I still think Ellie will win but agree that the series has lost some of it's sparkle.

Yes, I was really enjoying it, liked them all and thought they were all pretty good and it just seems to have gone off a bit.

Yes I think he's marmite in the true sense, that he's got a genuine voting fan base as well as a fair number of people who hate him to the point that they'd write in and complain if he won.

I didn't think I'd like Layton at all, the original VT when he was announced didn't do him any favours and I remember thinking I pity the pro that ends up with him.

But we are all enamoured with him at my house, he seems sweet and funny and a lot less pushy and temperamental than I thought he'd be

Know what you mean about Bobby; I've liked him from the start but he came in with very little idea about Strictly, and although I believe he gives it his all, I don't think he'll be too bothered if he doesn't make the final.

My dream would be for them to say no elimination again this week, all 4 couples are going through to the final. (They won't do that, of course. Would be good though.)
