Watching House of Games before ITT led me to look up Ranvir on Wikipedia and I learned something.

Ranvir went on SCD when recently divorced and very much giving off a "if the Curse happens to strike then I could live with that" vibe. She didn't end up with her pro dancers (unlike umpteen previous celebs). She didn't end up with someone else's pro, like Gemma. She didn't end up with a fellow contestant like Mollie/Tyler. She didn't end up with a judge which has definitely never happened to anyone and you'll hear from their lawyers if you say otherwise.

In fact she is still seeing a member of the Strictly production staff. There is clearly something in the air.

Also while watching House of Games I was thinking that Chris McAusland would be a good shout for the first blind contestant but suspected that he might be a truly terrible dancer. Amar gives off the vibes of being a much better bet.

Ranvir's series was with fewer contestants and during Covid.
Gio did a half-hearted showmance/build up the divorcee's confidence arc to get votes, but she isn't/wasn't his usual type. He was the only single straight male pro that year.
Only three of the male slebs that year were single (Max, NoVowels, Jason). Max copped off with Maisie following the tour, NoVowels probably too young, Jason the right age but was an early boot.
I'm pleased she met one of the crew instead.

Ha! Correction. HRVY could have been a contender as Louis Church, the production assistant is eighteen years younger. That's quite a gap.

Max wasn't single, was he? I'm sure I remember his girlfriend and her children popping up during training, or whatever. I guess it didn't last very long after that though.

Max was with Stacey Giggs. Ryan's ex wife...

I'll not be here tonight, alas. DH has his Christmas concert so we're all going along to Be Supportive.

Please make sure there's lots of top quality commentary for me to read while I watch tomorrow.

Out of Ellie, Layton, Amanda and Bobby I'd prefer for Amanda and Bobby to be in the dance off with Bobby going. 2 dances tonight as well. Have hopes for Lakitas Rhumba if it's done properly and really well.
