I've was thinking earlier that we've not had someone go out when they shouldn't have. I mean I know the tower ballroom is beautiful, but honestly Strictly gives a false impression of Blackpool as somewhere you'd want to go.

Hope Layton and Nikita dancing to Ain't No Other Man wipes the memory of Peter Andre cha cha-ing to it from my mind.

Yes, whenever there’s been US contestants on and everyone is banging on about Blackpool, they must think it’s such a shithole when they get there.

What a shame that Krish (almost certainly) won’t make it to Blackpool.

I always think it’s nice when the Lancastrian contestants get to Blackpool because so many of them talk about childhood outings there. Happy for Ellie and Layton.

I have never been to Blackpool. But I love the look of the ballroom.

If Blackpool is so bloody special, why not do the whole series from there? Levelling up and all that.
