It was a ridiculous storyline to shoe horn in and then bring it to a rapid conclusion with everyone smiling lovingly and waving her off.

She wanted to go @ilovebrie8. They promised her more serious stories if she came back but obviously they reneged on that!

Bernice fucked off with some kind of ridiculous exit (ridiculous story in emmerdale? I don't believe it)
There's possibly a playground, but that maybe a sarcastic comment.

Absolute shite story but at least it's got rid of the awful Bernice. I'm with you @BebbanburgIsMine I've never been able to stand her. I'm no fan of Nicola but was cheering her on when she wanted to report her to the police. I find Rodney very uncomfortable to watch. He creeps me out.
I really hope she's gone for good this time and doesn't waft back in a few years with her terrible style of dress. If she does come back I may have to go down there and strangle her with one of her scarves.
Hopefully Nicola will hire a big skip and get rid of all Bernice's hideous decor. I never realised how bad it was till last night.

I agree with you re Rodney, he creeps me out too, I'm also watching Classic Emmerdale and he's just awful then, sleazy and can't act!

I was cheering Nicola on too when she wanted to call the police, didn't like the way Bernice left, all hugs and kisses, and all is forgiven. If my sister took a £20,000 loan out in my name I'd be phoning the police! We don't have baillifs in Scotland, but if their equivalent took my stuff, or my kids stuff I'd be furious.

I really hope she doesn't come back this time, I'll happily help you murder her with her tacky gold pineapple, and hide the body.

Exactly! Absolutely ludicrous! The way they were all fighting and slagging Bernice off one minute to being all loving and happy for her when she left. Must be just that they're happy she's gone!

The thing is that they have had months to write an exit story for Bernice so why this rushed claptrap? I found out she was leaving months ago.

I had no idea! Yes they just bodged together something last minute which doesn't make sense. I do remember her spending too much since she bought the b&b but they could have done more with that storyline before the big exit

They could just have her go to be with Diane because she was sick or go to stay with Dee Dee for a while for some reason, no need for such nonsense.

I didn't like the way that Rodney took Bernice's part and tried to make Nicola the bad guy,when Nicola was the victim.

Who's Dee Dee? We have a hamster called Dee! He's brown so we call him Chocolate Dee. And who's Diane? ..thanks 😉

@BooseysMom Dee Dee is Bernice's daughter with a mystery man which was one of her many return stories! She's named after Diane who is Bernice's mother.

Ah thanks! I remember Bernice saying she was going to stay with her mum in Portugal or somewhere. But didn't know her name.

I always liked Bernice but this storyline and exit makes her look really trashy.
