I can’t help thinking the quiche will be a key plot point. I’m thinking Stephen attacks Jenny in the flat, the remaining quiche ends up on the floor in the struggle, she pushes him back, he slips on the quiche and through the first floor window head first into the cobbles.

I think the fact that Stephen and Tim were wearing the same colour jacket is significant - or intentionally misleading. Comparing the unidentified figure in the very last shot with the back view of Stephen at the airport check-in desk (yes, I know I should get out more!) suggests that the "mystery" brown jacket looks more close-fitting and could possibly be Tim's, but Stephen might just have pulled it more tightly. According to Google, Liverpool Airport to Salford (aka fictional Weatherfield) would take about 40 minutes by road - so he could potentially have made it back in the time it took for Jenny to partake in tea and sympathy (and quiche) from Roy. So the identity of the brown jacket wearer is still anyone's guess.

Is Tims jacket the one that Steve acquired at a charity sale? Did Tim get the jacket back?

You and your cake carriers have my utmost respect but you need to get a quiche in one and pop round to a neighbour in distress.

I think a whole cake carrier for a quiche is overkill personally.

There is a lot of overkill in Corrie

I think Roy popped the quiche in there because it was still a bit warm from the oven and a smaller tupperware thing might have led to sogginess.
I think Peter and son of aggie who I think is Michael and Tim are all going to have to do a lot of explaining.

His DNA is on the roofbox, his wallet at the scene and his phone called in the tip off... (And yet no ones spoken to sally despite her and elaine reporting him missing, the wheels of policing grind exceedingly slow in Corrieland!)... So yeah...
