Looking forward to the Stephen denouement now.

Not only did Stephen switch airport to cover his tracks, he requested a flight to Phnom Penh via Frankfurt. Meanwhile Plod was focusing on his original booking from Manchester to Thailand

Well I would say that Stephen couldn't get back to the cobbles in that time so it must be Tim, but who knows??

Just delurking to say I once arrived at Bristol airport to go for a weekend in Berlin & realised we didn't have our passports. We live just over the bridge in S Wales and very luckily we had arrived quite early and my daughter's boyfriend who was living with us at the time was able to drive to the airport and get our passports to us. We were so fortunate that everything aligned to work in our favour. We can never go anywhere anymore without me checking the passports twenty zillion times...

My husband is a passport checker but we nearly went to the wrong airport in Berlin.

Yippee! Yesterday was a cracking episode. It is the first time in many months that I have been glued to an episode of Coronation Street.

Jenny did comment something like "well, he won't get very far" - which I thought was quite telling, but could have been a red herring.

I hadn't thought of Audrey swiping his passport, but I don't see how she's had chance.

In any case I think he goes back to the flat where Jenny is sleeping off her Bad News Quiche, to get the passport as thats where he thinks it is... and off's, or attempts to off, Jenny in passing...

Officer SnarkyKnickers should have flagged his passport and name for all airports but this is Corrieland so obviously it will only be manchester thats aware of him... mm.

I wasn't too gripped by last night's, and how did Stephen get to Liverpool and back again so quick. So ridiculous

I think Stephen has the power to teleport himself to places where can earwig conversations

I was impressed by Roy's quiche, spared no expense getting the stilton in, a lesser man would would skimped with cheddar and broccoli does go well with all forms of blue cheese.

I wonder if dastardly Stephen has another murder in him or if he’ll finally be caught in the act. Where is nosey Eileen when she’s needed. Surely she would have noticed that Street Cars were missing a car.

I did like the sound of the quiche. It would be good in the bistro or posh hotel. Or the rovers. I like a quiche of the day option.

The woods where Stephen dumped the car and Tim are bordered by Tiny the Horses field... Tiny, sensing his master in distress, jumps the fence and hauls Tim out.

Tim wakes up and crawls aboard Tiny, hanging onto his mane by his teeth.

Together they gallop back to Coronation St, where they find Stephen.

Alerted to the strange sounds of snorting and hooves on cobble, Stephen's panic turns to total paranoid hysteria - he goes down on his knees as Tiny rears over him, boxing out with his iron shod hooves of death. Tim forces him to admit all his crimes from atop the Ferocious Tiny - all gnashing teeth, swishing mane and stamping hooves sparking off the cobbles...

Stephen, believing Tim to actually be dead and back from beyond the shallow grave aboard a nightmare steed, confesses all... and the rest of the street fetch their pitchforks and flaming torches.

Will Detective StroppyKnickers and ArCraigy get there in time to prevent revenge murder on the cobbles?

I liked Shona's comment about free drugs. Also, Gail appears to be absolutely revelling in Stephens downfall being revealed! Full of snarky comments and amused looks!

I am sure Jenny saw him put the passport in his black bag just before he went looking for his coat and swiped it then. She defo said he would not get far so if that is him back in his tardis then he will be going to try off her next.
