I don’t think the writers have decided whether she’s clean or not yet. I’m guessing at some point there will be a headline on Digital Spy saying “Corrie to revisit Cassie drugs storyline” (which is the usual code for “Shit, we forgot about that - oh well, it’ll fill up a couple of episodes”).

Yes and it'll be the usual bland script.

Tyrone will say 'how could you, mam, with the girls around?'

Evelyn will say 'well what do you expect? I did warn you, but would you listen, oh no.'

Abi will say 'look, I'll get her to a meeting, give her a chance, it's an 'ard road she's on and sometimes it's two steps forward and one step sideways'

Where are the quads and any evidence they exist, Gemma seems to have no interest in them whatsoever

He was ill before she gave him the lavender.

And she must have only put a few drops in a mug of water, he only took one mouthful. That wouldn’t poison him, most it’d do would make him throw up.
He’s been ill for a couple of weeks? No one else is so something he’s eating/drinking.
Can’t see why they gave Gemma quads, there’s got to be something long term planned as twins would have been just as exhausting.

I think they just can't count. I've only ever seen two but maybe the writers think that two children = quads

Why did Gary ask Jake if Mason has stopped bullying Liam? Surely Jake is at primary school and therefore wouldn't know.

Gemma is a ridiculous character. She only has two facial expressions. There’s deadpan, gormless and that’s it, no matter what happens. Her twin got the lions share of personality. .
The quads storyline wasn’t thought through by the writers. Totally impractical and unrealistic as they are very rarely on set together. I think the last time was when dopey Gemma left her antidepressants in her unopened bag in the lounge and fell asleep. She was a ‘childminder’ and Bertie ate one. She was in charge of six kids at the time. Nothings come of that so far. I’m adding her to my list of characters that need to be axed.

I wish they could sort out a proper house and benefits. Maybe Jawseph will be taken by his posh granny.

I wonder if that will come up now that the Drs are going to call SS on her. I guess it's one way of being able to get rid of the quads. They can go into care.

To be honest, the hospital scenes really annoyed me. The doctor tiptoeing round them, Chesney insisting they were good parents - it really is fine to say ‘we made a terrible error’

I've been thinking for a while that something will happen to have the quads taken into care, seems to be the only way to resolve the mess the scriptwriters have caused

If they just got rid of Gemma and her awful fucking gob I would be happy.
