DeeDee is a decent person but other than her lovely outfits I find her rather boring.

Anything involving drugs or finance or teenagers or murder can be done away with for a few months. Babies and organic vegetables and dogs going for pleasant walks would be nice.

I think one of the problems is that there aren’t enough characters in any one episode anymore. Everything feels empty and unnatural somehow. Like a stage performance.

There is a lack of extras too VictorianBigot it’s not realistic in communal places such as Roy’s & formerly in the Rovers.
The lack of everyday interactions is apparent compared with Classic Corrie.

Roy's only has about 5 tables, but it's never full, the locals always get a table. The Rovers was the same, no wonder they went bust.

Yeah DeeDee started off well, but the character is boring and pointless now, and always in someone's business. I find her irrelevant now. And the way she dresses is ridiculous IMO. In every episode she looks like she's on her way to an audition for a Soul 2 Soul Tribute Band. I don't know anyone who dresses like that for work, or just to pop to the pub!

The whole Bailey family can go, they are dreadful. Ed's booming voice is horrible, and the son that is left is annoying, and wtf kind of name is GLORY for a girl? All I think is 'glory hole. Awful name! Also, they are poor actors. I can't believe the actress who plays DeeDee got a best newcomer award earlier in the year - (NTAs was it?) Must have had very poor competition.

The school bully story is sooo boring too. In fact most plots are at the moment.

Amy now stalks clubs by night watching for spiking-druggers and then switches drinks and then has apparently no fucking plan beyond that because she called Aadi from the club who drove over and she bundled this bloke in the car and drove to the woods and Amy dragged him out of the car and then she taped his mouth up and wanted to leave him to die and Aadi said no that was a bad thing and called an ambulance and now they have to lie to DS PonyTail.

Amy seems to be quite strong.
