Where did the Barber premises disappear to.

David seemed to appear in Audrey's with no mention of it.

Gosh Ninas lipstick really gets on my nerves.

Gosh Ninas lipstick really gets on my nerves.

Not to mention the way she speaks

EachandEveryone · 13/11/2023 20:41

Shes too old to be carrying on like that 😃

CyanCrystalViolet · 13/11/2023 20:42

Nina is extremely annoying.

AutumnCrow · 13/11/2023 20:44

Courtney and her gob. It's simultaneously frozen, inflated and contracted, depending on whether you look top or bottom. It's mesmerising.

DahliaMacNamara · 13/11/2023 20:47

Poor old Bernie. I bet if she'd just gone to trial it would have taken ages to get a court date. Plenty of time to be there for Paul. I didn't go a bundle on the speculating about her 'taking advantage of a dying woman' either.

Nina gets on my nerves, not just her lipstick.

greengreengrass25 · 13/11/2023 20:56

Gemma doesn't even cuddle her dc, they woukd be at her the minute she got in the door.

She's getting on my nerves

AutumnCrow · 13/11/2023 20:59

I guess the magistrate didn't get the memo about the prisons being full, then?

What a load of crap. But yet, so inevitable.

The bathroom scene was very good and well done but it could have done without the "stiff" innuendo at the end. Also the line from Billy saying his best sex was with Paul.

Am no pearl clutcher but come on this is Coronation Street and airs at 8pm. Those lines were not necessary in an otherwise excellent part of the episode.

Very much agree it was completely unnecessary and too much for 8pm.

I thought if you got a custodial sentence, they took you straight down.

Yes, she barely looked at them as she walked in.

Wouldn’t Bernie’s case have to be referred to the CPS and Peters case come to that.
Its certainly a strange world in Corrie that’s for sure.

She hasn't actually been sentenced yet.

So peter openly admits to mowing down a man and killing him and walks away with a slapped wrist yet Bernie will go down for handling a few laptops? I want what the writers are smoking.

She reminds me of a goldfish.

Exactly! Also surely a Police Officer couldn't just make that decision as I've alluded to it would have to go the CPS, and. Let's be honest Peter didn't even get a slap on the wrist.

Yep I've no idea how she got the part, she is the epitome of over acting. Everything is said in a flirtatious, ott manner. Eugh

JustMoved123 · 15/11/2023 18:01

Is it just me or was Monday a spectacularly depressing episode?!

Prison, Rape, Imminent Death… not to mention the start with Paul and Billy discussing their sex life with their daughter 🤢

I’ve watched my whole life but this might be time to stop 😞

Hellendegenerate · 15/11/2023 18:14

Maybe when Nina audtioned for the part she did the best Goth look. Her character was the street's ( or Weatherfield's ) token Goth. Other than that she's just awful at everything.

Is anyone else as confused as me over Audrey going on about selling the salon, then going to see Debby about the rent,
renting chairs and sacking either David or Maria,

Mollypolly2610 · 15/11/2023 22:19

Just more inane drivel Like the Amy story tonight

Audrey owns Trim up North, the barbers that david and maria really work at, because david and nick stole money from her to buy it.

She rents Audrey's from Debbie, having sold it at some point in the past i forget why probably due to losing all her money to her relatives or lovers.

Deadringer · 16/11/2023 13:39

Wouldn't it make more sense to change Trim Up North to a unisex salon, and hand Audrey's back to Debbie, instead of shelling out rent for the sake of maybe one cut and colour and 2 blowdrys a week?
