The sudden change in Peter and Carla's relationship is bizarre. It takes a while for rot to set in, not immediately like this! It's clear they're doing it to pave the way for a Toyah affair storyline.

Yes, they ran the Rovers for a while, which was a stupid storyline given that Peter is an alcoholic. Toyah did some fake pregnancy thing with the other barmaid, plus dodgy stuff which meant she lost her therapist job and was (hopefully) struck off.

Jawseff and Hawp are twins IRL, and their older sister is in Emmerdale.

Why can't Peter go off yachting and be visited by Carla sometimes. And if necessary he could go missing and eventually turn up.
Toyah needs to settle down with Spider and have a miracle baby. Toyah buys her tops from the same shop as Sarah bought her dress.

I have watched Corrie for decades and hardly missed many episodes but I couldn't recall half of that list of relationship tangles and totally forgot who was married to who then divorced them and married their sisters etc. As for who the natural mothers and fathers are of half the kids, well I give up.🍼🎲📺

Yes it was great! the storyline is running on Classic and Lucy has just got her revenge on Peter.
