Just to throw this out, Vic and David have the exact same age gap as my husband and I (the actors), but I've never heard anyone mention stupid comments like "he's too old for her" etc. but people are always on at me and husband for having a 13 year age gap. Winds me up so much, I don't know if it's because I'm petite next to hubby or what, but it's not fair. Just because I'm flat chested and have the body of a child, I don't deserve love? And other women with the same age gap never get the flack, probably because they look more womanly. It's really upsetting and I've gone NC with people over it. Sorry I wanted to have a rant x

I think there was some comments at the time about David being a lot older than Vic as it was said that when David first came to Emmerdale Vic was a child.

Glad somebody's actually paying proper attention instead of zoning out at the boredom of it all!
I did wonder why there was a reference to the blue plasters but when Gail comes on screen I barely watch.

David is in great shape and has a youthful demeanour though so the age gap isn't really noticeable @Pandasandflowers. He's the same age as Billy on Corrie who would look much older standing next to Victoria for instance.
