I don't think he's done it before to Lydia. I think he wanted to sleep with her as soon as he saw her again, then when it was obvious she wouldn't cheat on Sam (she tried to resign after they shared a moment) he's decided he was just going to sleep with her anyway. Because he's a c##t and justice is needed. Now.

The scene in the church with Ethan, Claudette and Manpreet was bizarre. Ethan was so chirpy telling Claudette how they’d been to the funeral director. I laughed out loud when Manpreet announced with a big cheesy smile how they’d looked at coffins 🤣

Claudette's actress is so terrible. It sucks any real emotional impact out of her scenes.
