Yeah I reckon Craig could also end up being that harmless friend who assaults Lydia believing she should want be with him over Sam but it's more likely he will just disappear from the village one day as another storyline that went nowhere.

Just noticed its 'reportedly quit says source' as only saw headline other day so it's not 100% confirmed.
Matthew Wolfenden plays David the shopkeeper, whose become a such a wet lettuce & sniveling liar it's ruined any sex appeal he once had. Though agree he's had much grittier storylines in the past and was more likable even if cheats as frequently as Bob. Offscreen wife's Charley Webb aka Debbie Dingle who quit few years ago.
