Just be binged the lot, have avoided it so far as I don't like DMC much but this was fantastic, I enjoyed it so much!

It's on iPlayer for anyone who hasn't seen it, I expect I'm the only one though 🤣

It also has moments of real warmth, kurtan doing lovely stuff for Kerry's birthday and the vicar and his love for Jacob.

Haven't been impressed with anything else DMC has been in however, she peaked early.

I have watched and re-watched countless times, I never tire of it.

My favourites are Mandy trying to give DMC a tattoo. And the two young boys Kurtan got friendly with then fell out with and them following him 😂🤣

Such an underrated series! Actually I didn’t particularly like it the first time I watched it, the second time (which was by chance ) found it hilarious! So many great characters.

DS wanted me to watch with him-I def didn't think it was going to be for me but I love it.

And as far as incestuous-Kurtan is DMC brother in real life.

The Vicar is perfect. DMC relationship with her father so poignant-but as soon as it tugs on your heart strings you scream laughing!!

I loved the nods to local things like the mention of the arboretum in Len's love poem 🤣

I lived very nearby until I was a teen and it was all so familiar.

We're fairly local too so get great enjoyment from spotting references to places we know or seeing them on screen......the old bridge in Burford where Kurtan hangs Kerry's happy birthday sign.
