Ch5 drama is back

Saw this advertised after the last ch 5 ( I liked but know some we’re a bit erm) 😂😂😂

It looked good tbh

Anyway. 4 nights tue to Fri

Blindspot is the story of Hannah Quinn, a disabled woman with a wry sense of humour, who works monitoring the CCTV on a rough estate," reads the official synopsis.

"One day she sees a man she knows is a violent criminal lead a young woman into a blind spot in the camera coverage. He emerges alone but when the police arrive there is no sign of the woman, who appears to have vanished into thin air.

"Hannah is convinced that she has been murdered, but her fears are dismissed by the apathetic and possibly corrupt policeman Tony Warden, who is in charge of the case.

Hannah remains undeterred and will soon find her own life in danger as she fights to discover what really happened in the blind spot."

Speaking about what drew him to the project, Kemp told RadioTimes.com (https://www.radiotimes.com/tv/drama/ross-kemp-return-acting-empowering-blindspot-exclusive-newsupdate/): "The script, it was the story – I thought it was clever, in terms of what the story is about, about people being watched and how people interpret being watched."

I missed that mum of amber (who used to do drugs) was the councillor lady Lou

So she knew Zoe as well as said were school friends there

So Lou also knew hannah's parents

How many of you are going to watch the rest?

I'm undecided. I love a spooky mystery but the writing is so bad and the character actions are so unbelievable, nonsensical, or OTT. I would like to know where leopard-print woman disappeared to, but I don't think I want to know enough to watch three more hours...

Then we have pic of man and vanished girl who is wearing the same as she took a pic of in the bin

Creepy Swing Man and his mate look like brothers, don't you think? which doesn't necessarily mean that they are. His hair's darker than I thought.

I'm now wondering if it's CSM's mate who has his back to us talking to Hot Guy? Different clothes then though.

Would like to say I use Hot Guy as Hannah's description of him, not my own.

The guilty men will probably give themselves up when they come across Hannah as she's so aggressive and as scary as them !

It's hard to tell who's not corrupt in this . Even the cafe owner/Hannah's cleaner was in touch with the councillor , who's dodgy .

Or that she used to wear a wig and gave up. Or the actress shaved her head and it was totally ignored. Looking at the actress’s Instagram, she still has the style, although she has had a long ponytail beforehand.

If it was personal to an actor though you’d have thought continuity would’ve wanted to sort something.

It’s just another mystery to mull over.

Will carry on watching it, despite the OTT drama. I did have me gripped, even if I was rolling my eyes at times.

That councillor is definitely worried that the police are involved.

I've given up on it.

I mean, it's still all a bit ridiculous, but it was scary.

What a load of old shit, I had to turn off part way through this episode.

Sure he won't be curupt but def some police are

Cleaner wasn't very sympathetic tho she does have a dead body and a blood rug now to dispose of

Hasn't gripped me really but inspired use of knitting needle....haven't got a clue what's going on tho...

I switched off after the cinema scene. It was too silly. Although Hannah’s complete about turn from being majorly gung-ho, to ‘I’ll do ANYTHING’ tried my patience. I also find Kemp wooden and unconvincing.

Admittedly I don’t usually have such high standards 😁

I think I’m going to keep watching because it’s so bad! The acting is awful - I’ve never really seen Ross Kemp in anything but Eastenders years ago, but him and those who play Hannah and Dolly are terrible actors.

Channel 5 series are really hit and miss - when they’re good, they’re very good. This ain’t a good one though!

I think it's over dramatic and a little ridiculous - but I've said before, if dramas were like real life, they'd be boring 🤷🏼‍♀️
