So Zig and Dean have left, leaving lonely Mack with just Mali to walk in on in the bathroom. Remi loves Bree and Cash loves Eden, Tane married Flic and Leah hasn't dumped Justin yet. Kirby loves Theo and that's about it.

But who'll love who by page 40....

I think the storylines are a lot more ridiculous now than they used to be and that is saying something! Why am I still watching this?

Oh thanks! I saw the bit where the judge looked harsh and granted a break so Irene could prep her statement. But missed the one after.

She put Felicity in such a spot after she found the contraceptives.
"You tell him, or I will....", or some such cliched demand.

Then, with a foot in both camps (hardly..... she was always leaning toward Tane), and scowling and sneering at Felicity (I am not a fan of the character's wardrobe or make-up, so am sneering a bit myself) - and suggesting "a few days away" - ugh! All too predictable. Now he is at the farmhouse, I predict right here and now, they will end up in bed before too long.

Not that I will be watching. The long break over Christmas risks them losing viewers, and I think I may well be one who would rather watch Enterprise for the millionth time, than this twaddle.

It's not long since Mac was risking sending Salt down the pan because of her drinking. How fortunate that she's forgotten all that.

Was it not Flick who was drinking, after the fire/crash?

Oh - maybe Mac was on it after the miscarriage! I'd forgotten that bit.

Flick was also drinking, but Mac was before that at one point.

Oh, I was wrong - eventually Mac will sleep with Tane, but first (after a succession of one-night stands) he will get together with the blonde sister.
And I also bet they don't actually have a date or two, just have sex - which may or may not then develop into a relationship.

I’m not feeling sorry for Flick. I would be, if she weren’t so childishly nasty to everyone else while refusing to ever scrutinise and take responsibility for her own behaviour.

I have to say I'm on Flick's side. She is annoying but she was very clear with Tane before they got married that she would probably never want kids and if he does then he shouldn't be with her. He said she was enough. Then kept pressuring her to start a family, and not long after she'd been drugged and sexually assaulted so I have no sympathy for him tbh

No sympathy for Flick BUT Mack is in the wrong.

I agree with this. Also, while she was wrong to lie about still taking the Pill, it doesn't make the others right in their reactions.

Also also, the way Flick behaved when she first arrived in Summer Bay and all the things she's been through since - no surprise she's gone a bit mad with it all.

So, who is he going to get coupled up with (in the Biblical sense - no-one does dating, it's straight to Go. Ethical minefield for all options - new Nurse who there is history with, Bree who is fed up with and avoiding Remy, or Mac - who should have more sense, and is of course, a patient? - but her gratitude for being saved will give her the goo-goo eyes (and since when have ethical restrictions counted for much in Summer Bay...)
Maybe he is gay, and maybe all the ladies will be disappointed.
(There HAS to be some reason for that moustache.)

I despise moustaches with an absolute passion. There is no man who looks attractive with a moustache and so many of them choose it as a facial hair option.

Disclaimer: love proper full facial hair but there is no man who can pull off a moustache alone.
