As someone said earlier, I imagine that, looking the way she does, Evelyn has come across plenty of men like Dan. She’s probably learnt the hard way and won’t be fooled again. I think she’s probably one of the few that is on the show for the right reasons. She realises she’s been going for the wrong uns and wants help to find a healthier relationship. Rupert, though rather wet, at least seems decent and to treat her respectfully.

Just running onto this thread to say to people who understand what I mean, that that performance by Evelyn is one of the best things I have seen ever. Culminating in the way she said 'Dan' in response to him saying 'Evelyn'. What a woman!

Wow, Evelyn is amazing inside out. So intelligent and self assured. I want to congratulate her.

You could see the venom is Dans face when Evelyn told him what for. He hates women telling him off.

I got exactly the same vibe like he doesn't want to be found out for being gay.

The guys were pretty feeble though - every one of them that was on that night out could have spoken up and said exactly what he was saying when he was showing the photos, but they didn't. You'd think only Evelyn heard anything, from the silence round the rest of the table!

Poor Sandy is so far out of her depth it's painful to watch.
The rest of the 'boys' are pathetic in their failure to speak out against Dan.
And thank god Tayla gets some cold hard facts. I was so frustrated that Dan's gross behaviour was muddied by Hugo's part but ultimately that has lifted the lid on how she's treating Hugo.

Sandy is overthinking it. She knows full well how she wants to be treated but is doubting herself because Dan gaslights her, she desperately wants to work on it and doesn't want to miss an opportunity that she doesn't want to accept is long gone.

I did wonder if the other men kept quiet because they've all said stuff they wouldn't want getting back and they know Dan would throw them under the bus if they were too vocal. Ollie could be honest to camera and get involved in the Hugo situation because Ollie probably hasn't bitched about his partner. Hugo could bitch about Dan because he was already under the bus. Everyone else had something that could have come out.

Evelyn is amazing. Honestly, I'm learning from her. I'm always too keen to give people the benefit of the doubt. She just cuts right through all the rubbish.

As for Hugo, Tayla is probably the beeped out word. But I thought she had a teeny, tiny, minuscule point that he doesn't stand up to her or complain much. Then does complain to the 'lads'. She is one of those women who wants her partner to call her out and push back. It's a totally unhealthy dynamic.

I have a girl crush on Evelyn.

Quite often I complain that these shows highlight shitty relationships and don't call them out. But, actually these women have been amazing. Mel, Claire and Evelyn have been on top of all the bad behaviour and it's been beautiful to see.

(I know Alyssa called out Adam and Claire but her contributions always felt insincere to me so I'm not including her in the list of amazing women).

Any woman who goes anywhere near Dan or Harrison after this wants their head examined.

Dan is awful...I think he is a covert narcissist. The mask slipped at the dinner table.
