I have got access to Sky's SciFi channel but most of the time they dont seem to show any Sci Fi its all witches and warlocks or supernatural.
I am not even sure what I want, but something a bit more about future worlds, other planets, how will our world be in the future. More sort of Space Odessy, Star Trek.
Anyone got any recommendations?
Thanks
(I did just watch Trickster on SciFi which turned out not be science fiction but about traditions and myths of Canada's Indigenous people, focused on a young teenage boy with a dysfunctional family. And found it quite interesting not knowing of course how much was real in terms of traditions and how much not. Quite a lot of strong female characters. Some violence and gore.)

Another one recommending a rewatch of deep space nine. The definite Star Trek for me.
if you don’t mind a cartoon I really like the Star Trek cartoon Lower Decks - it’s hilarious and has some lovely moments.

If you like star trek tng watch the latest series of Picard on Paramount. Riker and Worf on an away mission, Roe, Piccard, Geordi, Crusher all main parts on a mission to save the federation! Paramount is free with sky cinema. The first two series of Picard were hit n miss but this is like new tng.

And on Amazon prime - free if you like fast deliveries.

If you can get hold of "Battlestar Galactica".. the second version not the first version. The second is very gritty with a thought provoking ending. There was a pilot made for a prequel "Blood and Chrome / Steel" or something. Well worth it.

Amazon Prime - do you mean that that is where SyFy is now, and not the Sky tv channel Sci Fi?
Talking of which I watched the first episode of Fringe last night (all 5 series are on Sky Sci Fi)
And I am sorry to say I thought it was very disappointing. Maybe when it first came out it was original, but now it just seems like a mishmash of other shows. Or an X Files tribute show.
Quite down hearted as I was counting on that to keep me going.
But wonder if that is because although I said Sci Fi it does seem from what sticks in my mind that I like the more post disaster movies, or lone citizens fighting a corporate world.
On the plus side have now found I can get Disney as an app on VM, and thanks to tip off from ? (sorry forgot to find name) I will use my Tesco clubcards before they reduce their value any more and sign up to that.

@LoveMyPiano is See the one on Apple TV? Is it good?
I moved house recently and cancelled Sky, and I was all smug about how much I would be saving. But a few days ago I added up how much I was paying for the different streaming services like Netflix etc and was a bit shocked! I currently have a few months of Apple TV for free, and following For All Mankind, I might have a look at See. There are so many things to watch though...
I've heard people advise that you should only have one or two streaming services at a time, binge, then after a couple of months cancel and go to another. But it's hard to juggle it all when sometimes a series is only available for a while, and then often you get a better price if you pay for a year upfront. Not sure how best to organise it really.
