Who will go with them? Is there time for new bombshells? 12 days to go. Bring it.

That was truly horrendous (bar Ron). Surely when you sign up for the show, you frantically come up with something half decent? Will could have made that funny, if he was naturally funny - but I find his humour so overcooked and forced. A bit like many of Iain's quips.

I have no idea why Ron let Samie talk her way out of that. Her and Tom are made for each other, as he is also two faced. Samie is just Olivia but without the intelligence to try and cover it up.

Back to Lana being wet again, as a breakfast means the girls have her back 🙄

And Rosie "Oh what's wrong" to Lana with her fake wide eyed confusion. She's just so meh. Even I would choose Tom and Will over her, and I find them insufferable together.

RocketsMagnificent7 · 07/03/2023 07:02

I think Samie's behaviour has been abhorrent. She's spread a horrible story about Ron and has absolved herself of any responsibility.

But Ron said it. Other people were also there and heard it too. Do we know for sure she told everyone else or was it just that conversation with Jessie and Rosie (can't lie I've stopped paying attention).

For weeks people on here have accused Ron of being a game player, he practically confirmed it with that comment and let's not forget they are far more of him/his behaviour than we do so will have a much more accurate idea of what's really going on.

Let's be honest it's all worked out for him if comments on here are anything to go by.

CellophaneFlower · 07/03/2023 07:02

Just to add, I'm in awe of anybody that can do a rubix cube full stop. I've never managed it in 40 odd years and I still have my original from when I was 5 (complete with semi peeled stickers where I've tried to cheat) 😂

It's not what Ron said, it's how Samie took it, decided she had proof he was a game player and ran with it.

He basically said he thought the strongest couples were the ones that got over their issues in the beginning, knew they wanted to be together and just got stronger, rather than the ones that are tight from the word go, then it becomes obvious they're not really compatible, so the cracks start to show. That's what I took from that convo anyway.

Picoloangel · 07/03/2023 07:19

@RocketsMagnificent7 I’m no Ron fan but he didn’t say it. it’s like he said “Viewers like people with red cars so I can see why the fact that I have a red car might make viewers think X” Samie to everyone “Ron’s just admitted that he deliberately bought a red car to win the show.” 🙄

Samie has behaved really badly and I agree with others that she’s shown her true colours. She is coming across as one of those women who is so beautiful that she thinks she can get away with anything. Maybe after the challenge the other day she feels her and Tom are so popular that nothing can touch them.

I really dislike the way Shaq has behaved towards Ron too. The men in the villa are horrible this year. We have none of the bromances of other years just the Will, Tom and Casey show which is about as funny as a Jim Davidson routine. Shaq displays alot of aggression in his interactions with Ron and it’s uncomfortable to watch. Ron isn’t going at this from a place of aggression at all.

I am watching despite myself but just not invested at all.

CellophaneFlower · 07/03/2023 07:29

Also, I watched that Ron convo whilst still having a pretty poor opinion of him, so I certainly wasn't biased towards him but it raised no red flags to me. It was embarrassing how excited Samie got with her "proof". She was also really nasty the way she said to Lana, "just letting you know EVERYBODY knows and is talking about it, as she walked off. She was so smug about it all and proud of herself.

I think Ron has come out of the latest drama very well. He's the brightest and over estimates the intelligence of some of the others during conversations with them.

Boulshired · 07/03/2023 08:08

It the sheer audacity about the game playing drama, they are all playing a game, it’s a reality game show. It’s not like Ron created a new strategy and let his secret slip. The “journey” concept is nothing new. I understand why Sammie kept repeating it, as it’s to ensure the footage is shown as she believed it damaged Ron but she did have Olivia to run with it so had to do the leg work.
whilst I think Ron is intelligent you don’t need to be to be a rubix speeder, just practice of the sequence as I used to be able to do under the 90 but have slower hands now and not particularly intelligent

Boulshired · 07/03/2023 08:09

Didn’t have Olivia that should read

@callthataspade That's true 😂
I do think he is generally more intelligent and articulate than the others but it's not a high bar!

This.

Every single one of them are there to win. They want to leave their jobs and make income from being an influencer/being recognised.

I listened to the Unreal LI podcast and it was enlightening. Thanks to the whoever recommended it.

So true 😂

Also agree with everything @Picoloangel said. Samie thinks she's untouchable because her and Tom are popular and she really enjoyed twisting the knife into Ron. I actually think she's still resentful that he dared to choose Lana over her. She comes across like a nasty popular mean girl at school. Also quite aggressive and a bit "rough". Can't deny she's by far the prettiest girl in there though.

I'm starting to really feel for Ron. I actually think it must have been awful for him to be trapped in a house with Will/Casey/Tom's utterly idiotic "bantz" (like a poster above said) and Shaq constantly trying to call him out and belittle him. And Samie and Tanya are bitchy snakes. I would also gravitate towards Kai/Sanam and Lana as they're the only normal people in there.

Starflecked · 07/03/2023 10:06

I have to confess that LI is usually my guilty pleasure, his series has been hard going though and have missed chunks.

It does seem that this year aside from a few of them there's a lot of nastiness. Now Liv has gone (who was a menace but to be fair would stay stuff to people's faces) so much of the snakey behaviour has come to light. Sammie is coming across really awful in this, the only tolerable couples are Ron & Lana and Kai & Sanam.

CarpyDiem · 07/03/2023 10:11

Jellykat · 06/03/2023 21:06

'I'm not cleaning up all of that', well said Sammie.. shes a strong lady, fair play

Yes - Ron so clearly had to change tack when she stood up for the truth by her answer "But, you did say it, Ron"

Rollergirl11 · 07/03/2023 10:21

Yep Tanya was totally two faced last night too. She had a conversation with Lana saying that her and Ron shouldn’t deep it and reassuring her that people weren’t dwelling on it and it was just a comment and then went straight in to a conversation with Samie and Jessie where they continued to slag Ron off and say how he always manipulates the conversation. I don’t know if it was just edited that way but if not do they completely forget the cameras and everyone can see what you’re saying and doing??!

It was infuriating watching Samie repeatedly tell Ron that everyone perceived it the same way and failing to understand where Ron was coming from when he said they perceived it that way because that’s what she went round told them all. Is she too dense to understand that only the people present for the comment can truly perceive the way in which it was said?!

It wasn’t the truth! He didn’t say it how she went round telling everyone! He specifically said “I can understand how they (the public) might think that. As a viewer it seems like the ones who have their drama nice and early and then get comfy and treat it like a holiday, they are the ones that just cruise (as in through to the final). And I can see why people think Lana & Ron are just cruising through. But I’m not bothered by that cos I know I’m not.”

Thank you for posting exactly what Ron said, as I couldn't remember, only knew it wasn't how Samie made it out to be. She thought she was so clever, with her little titbit of information, when really Ron was saying exactly the opposite.

I do hope somebody tells her at some point exactly how close she came to winning till she fucked it all up by being herself. Quite a few of us thought she was snaky when she first came in, but she totally let Olivia do her thing and we gave her the benefit of the doubt. I'm starting to think I should always trust my initial impressions of people, as they're normally right.

Ron however did not challenge her - he did not state that he didn't say it, he changed tack. So I think he has been spouting off in that way.

People don’t remember conversation verbatim so it’s difficult when challenged, what is remembered is context and intent. Ron’s was clear, it was Sammie who took that conversation and changed its meaning.

CarpyDiem · 07/03/2023 11:13

And Sammie's was just as clear, and just as valid. And he didn't challenge it when she stated that he did say it. And he could have used that opportunity to clarify. But he didn't, he wriggled and changed tack. He was floundering and flip-flopping.

Samie OTOH was clear, concise and not letting herself be bamboozled.

I think you're watching a different show to the rest of us 😂 Tom and Samie are thick as mince and Samie has really shown her true colours. Nasty and hard faced.

Perhaps she should have been just as clear with him when he initially said it then and discussed it with him. Instead, she couldn't wait to go spreading it round the villa.

Liskee · 07/03/2023 11:21

Having lurked on this thread the last couple of weeks it's clear that the viewers divide on their favourites mimics the divide in the villa.

Normally by this stage in LI I'm 90% sure who is going to win but this year it's really unclear. I think it's between Tom and Samie, Will & Jessie and Ron & Lana. Casey and Rosie will likely leave tonight and Tanya & Shaq/Kai & Sanam could be placed anywhere on the leader board.

Kai & Sanam are lovely but they're vanilla just as Will said in his rap. They're the only couple that don't draw strong opinions though so it might go in their favour?!

Anyway, this last week is always DULL so at least there have been a few rows and bitching for some dramz.

MyopicBunny · 07/03/2023 11:21

If Ron was actually playing a game with the intent to deceive people, it seems highly unlikely that he would admit everything a short time before the final not only to the cameras but also to several people in the house 🤔

Samie is disingenuous. She goes around stirring trouble and saying everyone is angry about what Ron said when she is the one bitching and trying to incite anger towards him.

The irony of this situation is that she was much more popular than Ron before she did this. And now she's shot herself in the foot nicely.
