I don't watch normal TV any more just YouTube, streaming services and occasional BBC catch-up

I have just realised.

And my children have grown with this. I wonder how TV will be for them in the future?

@ZZTopGuitarSolo Fair enough. It’s a shame that people do that because it’s going to be mean the BBC will take fewer risks with new ideas and talent. The streaming services just want the standard stuff. The licence fee allows them to be more creative. Still I suppose that’s the way things are going these days.

Having worked for the BBC I have absolutely no problem with their budget being cut. I was astonished at how much money they wasted.

Us too...

We've even cancelled Sky.

We only watch things on Catch Up apps via our smart TV, Netflix and YouTube on our phones/iPads.

I believe both 'normal' scheduled TV and cable/Sky TV are on borrowed time. Not to say the BBC, for example, will disappear but it will all be via streaming and Live broadcast only for the news and important National events.

@ZZTopGuitarSolo ok. My experience is slightly different but there we are.

I shall be hanging onto Sky as long as possible, it might be expensive but it is the most convenient to watch
